How powerful of a magnifying loupe?

Plants are getting there, almost done and shit. Just want to harvest them at the right time, definately want them to be orange and more couchlocky. lol.

Anyhow my question is: How many times (x) does it need to magnify? ( For example: 10x, 20x, 50x, etc. ) Checked out a few local stores, including a jewelry store, no luck. So I'm guessing i'm left to ebay, and I just want your guys advice.

What do you use? Any other ways to tell when to harvest? I'm new to this so I think a surefire way is best.

Damnit i went to radio shak, too! Guy told me he thought they used to carry 'em, but not anymore. :rant: Went to staples and a jewelry store too; best answer i got as to where they are sold is: "47th street in new york".

i've got one of those and still after almost a year i still can get it into focus as the glands shimmer and i can't see the colar any ideas
and the sales guy at my radio shack say's they keep them near the counter towards the back-side of it hope that help's you find it dude

man get the part number off the website,when ya go to the store ask them for that part number.the geeks will lookit up on the puter and tell ya if they got one or not.that has always been a stocked itiem so they should have one.
