what kind of reflector do ya have in mind?you could build a simple batwing fairly easily.but if ya want an air cooled hood things get a bit tougher, selected tools would make this project a bit easier.anyway post up some ideas of what you have in mind and i'll help ya find a link for that build.

what materials have you got to work with?ali tin, stainless steel, tin foil?
you can make an air cooled hood no probs if ya got the right stuff.my jetstream is all mainly held together with the same stuff that hold fish tanks together,no need for welds or rivets;)

I guess back to what Mid was asking.... Are you wanting something like a batwing reflector to put inside the grow or are you wanting an air-cooled hood with glass in it to keep out the heat?
You can build a batwing reflector really easily man. Just take a flat piece of stock whatever size will fir into your room put about a 30 degree bend in the center and roll each edge out to be level with the center. Then make a small bracket to go from one end straight down 4-6 inches, make it adjustable if you want to put some time into it. Then bolt it to the reflector and to the light base. there's a quickie for ya...
Now if you want to go in and build a air-cooled hood then you prolly need to find some online and get the sizes and the idea in your head and just start building. Just keep it within the deminsions of your cab. If you could build an air-cooled hood to put on top of the cab and completely light-proof the outside that would be a good way to get some more height inside your grow cab.
