Herb Grinder

Anybody know any thing about grinders? I am looking to buy my first grinder and don't know what I should be looking for. I have never even seen one in person so any info would help.. My guess is metal is better than wood. But what about the pollen screens? Do they work? are they worth the extra money? like I said any info would help..

I prefer the elec. kind myself mang, had mine for two years and still going strong and I grind alot of smoke mang 4-5-6:) joint a day for my back pain and enjoyment of course!

Hey Bender....i have a metal one...with a kif catcher :D and i also have an electric....but my electric is a coffee bean grinder...

Both have great benefits....the hand metal grinder is great for when i don't wanna move...but the kif collector...well for the amount of time it takes to collect...it wasn't really worth the extra for it...just a simple regular metal will do the trick...and its quick for choppin it ...i wouldn't really go with the plastic...can break too easy...best invest in the metal...

The coffee grinder though....the amount of kif collection is unblievable...the lid will easily collect much kif and can be easily scraped with a flat head screw driver (gently...don't damage your lid)
