hi peeps.ive jst trimmed some of the big fan leaves off some of my plants as they were so big they were blockin the light to the new heads.hows does this affect the plants?
never trimed a fan leaf off a plant before and probly never will...
i have tucked em under stems and what not, but never removed them ...
arnt they there for a reason?

I have trimmed a few.. if they block the light and I cant tuck them back I have cut them off.. never any more than I absolutely need to.. I agree with CB.. they are there for a reason ;)

just think of them fan leaves as if they were big ol solar pannels;)
the more ya take off, the less light it can obtain which means less energy for ya plant to do its thing;)
trim other leaves yea but not the fans basicly.
