.Seems like a good place to grow a couple plants. :smokin:
I figured, what the hell, no one else was going to do it. :D
Unfortunately, I have no working digicam. Things may change with time, but no guarantees. ;) So you'll have to suffer through my mundane verbiage.
Some details about my climate and other grow conditions. Average annual rainfall is near 40 inches. Too bad we are in an extreme drought, currently close to 14 inches behind over the past 9 months. So water will be even more crucial.
Average last frost is on or about April 20, and average first frost is somewhere around October 31. So if you do the math it is about a 5 month season, usually I push the limits on both ends.
Approximate latitude 38 degrees north and at about 1,500 feet above sea level.
Seeds have already been started using the paper towel method and are about a week and a half above surface. Transplanted into a seedling flat that has 36 spaces, and all but 4 have sprouts. Some even have two or three, damn sprouted seeds are hard to handle. Will keep them inside under overdriven t8 fluorescent tubes until its time to put them out. Your guess is about as good as mine as to the strain though. Could be anything from white russian or widow to blueberry or purple skunk. I have been blessed with quite a variety but failed to keep them organized, So I just start them and see how they grow. So far most grow into nice buds.:smokin:
Anyway, now is the time to be turning over the soil in preparation for planting out in the coming months. So i will be taking my handy folding army surplus shovel and making the rounds. Probably add some soft rock phosphate, alfalfa pellets and cow manure to the soil at each of my rotated grow spots.
That’s about all I can think to say for now. Hope some of you will stop in from time to time and help keep me motivated, for it is a long time till November.
Good Growing. :smokin:
