GH Flora 3 part for ferts RO'd water 15on 15 off on watering and after the lights aer out its 15 min on every 3 hours
Veg under 500w 50/50 MH/HPS
1 week in to Flowering under 1000w HPS-EN

I almost went with the same hydrofarm setup you have now when I was looking for what I ended up with. I ended up getting the TurboGarden. So, I have a few questions for ya....

Do you like how it works?
How hard is it to change the res.?
What is the drawbacks to that setup?

And.......

Cherry Malawi........... Can you elaborate on this a little? I have wanted to grow CheeryBombII from reeferman seeds for a while now but I have always had my growroom full of other stuff and when it came time to order, now, the seedbanks are all in an uproar so it may be a while before I get to grow something Cherry. It sounds good to say the least man, Actually anything Cherry sounds good....:cool:

I do like the setup
I have the setup sitting in a 4x4 tray and it has a drain to outside so changing the water is simple :D
RO water is on tap in the room for an easy refill
I used a small pump at 1st but that got old

I have them all plumbed inline and a 75gph pump sending it back to the res ... 360* water flow
and a 5" airstones in each bucket

drawbacks are the drip rings like to bubble/spit some

the Cherry Malawi I'm growing are from Rev/rolanterroy

I'm trying my first hydro too. I'm excited to get started a got a good deal on e-bay, the 97.00 package.
I have so many questions about hydro skills, or maybe a very good booklet with procedures. If you know of one, pass the infor where I could get a hold of it. Real neat starter plant pics. I'm still going to grow in the dirt this season, cause this is my little summer time experiment... It must be cabin feaver cause I'm ready to grow now. Peace out navigator902:D

I had the Girls all outside today

CM is on the right DPxS on the left

the CM's are spreading out wide/bowl shaped

both are doing it so I had to tie up the main branchs on them

they have a hint of a cherry like sent now

it was a PAIN and IF I had things setup a lil better I'd have'm outside

they get sun every day but only for 30 to 40 min and from the sides only

I took the ?xC99 and remeved her top and shes in soil for a Reverted outdoor plant
I'm glad I saved her ...she had her roots eaten away as a sprout ... she was a "why not try'n save her plant" so I did LoL

yep but I went in knowing that

was 4 strains and 5 fems 100% seeded and came out with 1000's of seed

not sure I'll do it that way again soon but you never know :rolleyes:


dried it and crumble it up as much as you can
took a wire strainer to remove the larger green/stems ect
last parts fun rub the seed to remove/crumble the husks then blowing over the tray of seed to blow away the seed husks
