thanks everyone, I appreciate the comments
yep...i dont know where i got those blue cups but they were too small...i was rootound in them within a week...
dank,
the soilless mix is great because you can better control the concentration of nutes. theres no confusion as to weather your over or under nuting...it also is very aerated and drys very evenly.
the only drawback is that peat moss is very acidic (around 6.0) and if the soil becomes too dry lockout occurs. as the soil breaks in, the PH raises due to the lime in it breaking down... i compensate with my water ph'd a little high at around 6.7 ...
everythings going very well, my only problem at this point is a possibility of becoming rootbound...i dont understand because as of now the plants are only 6 weeks old and in 3 gallon pots. When i chopped the males last week they were close to rootbound...to combat the problem I am going to start to water more often to try to curb root growth.

Sounds perfect2thumbs , thats a few of my problems with my young vegging plants, i got 2 of them right now that just wont dry out:mad: they are also the only 2 that arent growing in "ALL-MIX" soil, guess i should change. I used recyled dirt for them and i guess it was to clayey, not sure if thats a word:p :o ........and in the past i have had several problems with over nuting:rolleyes: and pH, my tap water pH is like prbly around 7.6, i got hardrwater, im definitly gonna try some of that soilless sometime soon;)............sorry i might be rambling but this white russian hit me like a train in the morning:D

As you can see a couple posts up, Dredank is still fucked up on his white russian harvest. He and I just completed our WR harvests around the same time. I now have a second crop growing, but I am interested in the russian's mom, the AK-47. Is this your first time w/ her? Please give us some info on how they have done. What was your germ rate and m/f ratio? Have they been finicky at all? My experience has been that the russians are sort of sensitive to nutes. I'll be enjoying watching these girls hit puberty and frost up.
