Hi everyone i am a learner of MJ cultivation. i am living in southeast asia where the sun is always 12/12 or 13/11 and the temp is always hot (day=90-100F, night= 80-90F)

i am growing a local plant (Laos) in a standard closet with 250 HID lamp.

Since my area has a 12/12 light thru the year, is this mean that my plant will be capable of flower at anytime of the year once they mature? The reason i am asking is because i had grew outdoor before and they only flower once a year which is why i change my method to indoor.

anybody lives in this region? and did u get the same result? or what have i done wrong?

now i am thinking of combo grow (Veg - inside // Flower - outside) will this work?

now i am having a problem with heat inside the grow space, my plant is 10 days old with a height of 5 inches. Is this show a significant slow growth rate? ( temp in the grow space is usually 90-100+F )

If so then i might have to put more fans in the closet which i rather not doing because now my closet start to sound like a very HUMMIMG CLOSET:eek:

any suggestion? it will be very hard to keep the temp @ optimum but given this situation do you think i should continue with what i have or definitely improving the vent? and will my combo grow work?

Thankyou inadvance

I don't live anywhere near your region. but a lot of landrace sativas are set at 12/12 if your going local grown seeds prolly be the best bet growing outdoors if you can ;) (elephunt man is the sativa dude...he would be better at shedding light on your flowering and things than I would be.,...I got a good enough grasp on Sativas to prolly screw ya up :( )

YES!! you can veg inside then flower outside. ;)

outside plants can handle the heat...more air flow and CO2 than indoors.
but at those temps you either HAVE to get those temps down or put CO2 supplement in it. The biggest obstacle for indoor growers is ventilation. You need a good air flow to not only keep temps down but also give the plants fresh air which they crave. ;)
your temps are very high and you NEED to get them down if you can.

as far as the noise...pletny of threads here that address that very issue...you have to research and figure which one is best for you. We had a big discussion on it not long ago in one of our older members grow journals....the grow journals here have a ton of very helpful info on keeping your grow hidden and quiet ;)

Thanks Dawg for the props, dunno if I am worthy though. :o

Laos landrace (indiginious) weed is famous  , very nice sativas come from there. Would love to see some pics, one of a nice big leaf would be awesome. :)

Dawg is right 'cept I have seen near pure sativas handle 90-100 degree temps indoor no problem. Not optimal, and ventilation is top priority.

I have a buddy on another forum who grows in a greenhouse very close to the equator, he flowers all year long.

I think the key for you would be to get some seed from elsewhere, few good hybrids or sativas. Your local weed is too acustomed to it's environment (landrace). Any hybrid will flower anytime there, could veg it some inside first.

Still quite easy to purchase seeds from Canada or Europe, but most peeps on this forum openly trade instead. Laos landrace seed will most certainly be worth a trade ;).

5" in 10 days is not bad at all, how many nodes (branches) high is she?

Welcome to HGB :D

Ok so i should look for some imported seed correct?

PS. The plant has 4 step branches ( is this call nodes? ) @ 5.5 Inches / 12 days
