Not bad at all. What I've heard so far (wireless cards slow today, had to pause it to let the download catch up) reminds me of some of Frank Zappa's classical stuff.

I didn't know that you were a jazz fan Cranky, Nice!

Can you really see yourself dancing to this?? With all the posho jazz fans who think they are being sooooo avant-guard ?

I though it was great, can see it getting a play in the car.

However as dance music can you guess what they lack? It's the bang-boom-bleep that puts everyone off, a decent remixer could make a killing.

glad yas enjoyed tripps n cyclonbud;)

sombro me old been, the style/genre is breakbeat,in the form of d&b(drum n bass).

search out drum n bass and youll find theres tons of stuff out there bro ya could even say its inteligent d&b...ya have large d&b events all over the planet and peeps have no probs getting down to it:cool:ya head bobs at half beat if ya gets me;)

and yep,i do like jazz, more acid jazz though and its nothing like this stuff.

dance music has evolved so much now its got crazy.there are genre after genre out there now and still it keeps on evolving into new styles....latest to hit the sean is dubstep...now thats one genre i really cant see how peeps dance to :o but i love it all the same.

as for remixing..it dont need any...ya couldn't get that sound from a pc and thats what i love about um:)

nice one for checking them out guys

I was part of the Junglist Massive matey, still am in my head. Gave up going raving when the jungle starting making me superpara at about 5am (alright maybe it wasn't the fault of the music)

Don't check it much these days though, can recommend Pendulum though, a smile while you nod.

One from back in the day.

Mrs Sombro reckons "Do you remember" sounds a bit like that Propellerheads tune with Shirley Bassey. And that the rest sounds a bit like a David Arnold film score.

You never find me arguing that dance music isnŽt real music. Ask my 2yr old if she wants to hear some music and sheŽll jump up and down shouting "one more time!" until I put this on. She then shakes it like a monkey calling "louder, louder"

I remember those videos too. They made them all for one of their albums in conjunction with their favourite animator from Japan.

They released those videos in 2001, but the movie (and the album) came out later....the movie was in 2003...Interstella 5555 - The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem.

That would be Leiji Matsumoto? One of mine too. As a child I loved his Star Blazer series (Space Battleship Yamato series).:D I have all three series too.
