Well, don't have a whole lot to say...well, I do...but.....BATMAN!
Seriously, the new flick rocks. Just as dark...no, actually darker than the previous (Batman Begins). Heath Ledger's last role...as the Joker...is fairly close to brilliant. He plays the original idea of the Joker perfectly. Original Joker was a Homicidal Sociopath.....Quick quote from the movie: "I'm an Agent of Chaos. There's no fun in having a plan. I just want to do things and see what happens...." Not an exact quote, but close enough. GREAT social commentary in this one too. BATMAN!
reminds me of the batman comic books when I was young:D seen a couple of the movies but will give this a watch when it gets here:)

Well.....it is rather dark. I will say this...people get cut. Literally. A lot. Not much blood...actually, hardly any...but violence nonetheless. The cutting (and the dog biting) might not be good. But that's your choice as a parent. I've always believed that it's up to the parent to decide what's right and what's wrong....
Then again, I'm not really saying that there is anything in there that says that sticking a knife in someone is cool. It's very obviously the bad guy.
But.....

Nah...earlier than that, I believe. Joker I'm talking about was written into the comics years before that. Jack did a good job as the Joker...but he was still more comedic than Ledger's Joker. Ledger's Joker is just plain psychotic.

Yeah? Thought Ledger did a fantastic job as the Joker....and the BatPod (cycle, whatever) was nice. And...and...I could keep going but I really wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet who wants to see it....

Heard about that....hasn't that happened before with him? Like around the same time that American Psycho came out? Another great flick. Enjoyed seeing him fight dragons in the Reign of Fire movie, too....
