Not sure when this footage was shot Cranks, but I've seen similar reports about Wales getting the brunt of the Dutch imported laced weed.
One guy I watched (who was in his early 30s) breathed like an guy in his 70s with emphacima. Feckin tragic. The worst thing about it is that the people doing this most likely would have been smokers themselves to have come up with the idea :shrug:

That footage is newer than what I've viewed 2thumbs I'll try and pull up what I've seen which is mostly from the cannabis activists sites.

I can recall one member of parliaments reply to sufferers, something along the lines of: "These people are smoking an illegal substance, why should the national health service be burdened with criminals"

Firstly, the extra weight was added, without doubt, by some low-level scumbag dealer, the last or next to last link in the (goldie lookin) chain. Sell kilos of weed cut with glass to a gangster and you don't get to live long enough to do it twice.

Secondly there is no such thing as a Vietnamese drug cartel, these guys get arrested when a house is busted because they are young illegal immigrants used by commercial growers to watch the grow. It's just easier to point the finger than accept that British citizens were the real criminals.

I'll try and dig out them videos. It must have been a Welsh phenomena when it started cause the ones I watched concentrated of Wales.
Like I say, even an MP got in on it and couldn't get the government to respond well.
Even drug advisory sites such as 'Ask Frank the Wank' wouldn't put a warning up :shrug: WTF !

I feel bad for the people who have been injured due to grit. I thought wet beasters was bad, here in the US, bad that's just wrong.

I can't believe that someone in the know, somewhere at the top of the chain, where the order was made to do this, didn't raise holy hell and stop it.

It does show that people who ONLY care about money were supplying a lot when those busts happened.

But they probably did it to meet up with demand created by those busts.

I thought it started out with glass because they were beating off the trices for premium hash and replacing the missing trices with powdered glass :shrug: Then the silicone and grit followed :shrug:

Well, I'm from across the pond,so I have no personal experience with the grit.

But here in the US, about 3 years ago, the demand for what we call beasters(it started as good bud from British Columbia in canada) went through the roof.

The bud started off very nice. Dried well, very crystally, and well trimmed. Then it started not being trimmed. Then, over a year or so, it started getting more and more moist. Finally it was so wet it was crap.


So my best theory was that they didn't have anywhere new to grow, so were unable to legitimately have more pot. So they realized that by not drying the stuff for more than(IMO) 3 or 4 days, they could almost( if not actually) double the weight of pot.

And I figure that these Dutch(if they are) bastards came up with grit instead.

I've not heard of anything this way but then again I'm not in the market and local press here looks at mj as an insignificant problem.
Maybe because it hit a particular part of the UK first, ie: Wales, it drew more press reports :shrug:

The way I see it is this, if you were just a money man who never seen the product but were an importer or 'shifter'. you'd have no knowledge of being able to fraud smokers, not being a smoker and not understanding WTF trices are?
It has to be before the $$ guy or after, which puts it at the growers feet or the wholesaler :2cents:

My tuppence worth is that its with the first hand after the grower, and before it reaches these shores.
