This plant was sexed indoors 2 months ago and placed outdoors to re-vegg.
Where pistils or balls would normally form I have these 'pods'. I've certainly not seen them before but if I were to take a guess, they look a bit male to me :confused
Any thoughts campers?

I tried that Cranks. It looks like a couple of weird pistils inside.
I'll crack one open tomorrow and post it up :)
Thanks campers.
Could easily be a harmless jaffa scrotum Burnsy, I've got them on plants maybe 2 or 3 times when I've really focked about with them.
Another thing it may be, just odd looking re-veg growth. I know that's a bit general but when I've re-vegged plants the new growth often looks nothing at all like an mj plant, until it's been vegging for a few weeks....
For your own sanity I wouldn't take clones directly from her unless you're short of time, I'd take a cut from her, get a healthy Mum growing from that cut, then take your working clones from that one. 2thumbs

Mr Burns i been thinking deep in to your Plants unusual looking sex organ and after everything you have been saying on weird noises on top of your House Harriers and turbines floating on top of your place
Its only one answer to those sacks ??
You have been inside a UFO and you don't remember , those sacks are from alien Cannabis plants pollinated your plant or switch places with your original plant , probably you made the hole proses inside the Flying Disc and don't remember now .
Go to one of those shrink Hypnotic crab to revile the truth behind the Sacks:p
Man you probably got a 50% THC jean in that plant from out of space:eek:

Here we go. The best picture I can get at the moment.
They appear like a rolled leaf, a kind of pod. Inside is the female hair but has browned off, probably during re-veg

Google Rodelization for an explanation of the bananas.;)

Thing is, these are a female hair wrapped in a leaf
Interesting article on Rodelization from Soma though. Clone only strains should be a thing of the past :2cents:
Hello all, I'll skip the intros :D
"Rodelization" Interesting how growers invent new words for old practices which only seem to further confuse new growers.
I have to doubt Soma would throw all his toys out the pram and threaten to give up breeding in an effort to get all the people who refused to take up the new taxonemy banned from his forum tho :trust:
Clearly the picture is not the same as the "usual" male stamen we expect to see when a pistillate plant expresses hermie characteristics, those are usually bare stamen without the outer parts of the male pod/flower. Pistillate hermies show due to stress, photo periodic, nutrient, or pH stress.
Not all plants will show hermie characteristics due to stress. Some females will never show hermie traits, these are "true" females, breeders of old use to induce stress on purpose to eliminate hermie characteristics from the breeding pool. Course this was before so much was known about feminising seeds ;) Mel frank wrote something about finding true "XX" females. Now the "XX" thing is not exactly correct as it refers to chromosones in humans, XX being female, YY being male and XY or YX being hermie, it was a simplified argument to enphasise non hermie males or females in the breeding pool.
His method was to use photoperiodic stress to induce hermie characteristics so he could eliminate them from the breeding pool, switching light periods back and forth in order to induce stress, then only breed from true XX females. Very old skool now tho :)
The advice in the article, is about "selfing a Pistillate hermaphrodite" funny how the old taxonemy describes exactly what it is eh :p
The "pod" looks like a very immature male flower to me, as if the outer parts of the flower have fused to the stamen, but over sized for a stamen too, and to further complicate matters it has female bits inside.
Nope, I ain't never seen owt like that  It's probably reminicient of genetic deformaty, some genes getting switched off/on by accident as the re-veg skewed hormonal changes ;)

Interesting write up Sanster 2thumbs My poke at clone only strains was a direct hit at "why have we clone only strains"
It just seemed too simple :2cents: Looks like I'll be throwing this plant up a footpath then :(
I'll update how she/he does in time :)
Gotta think of a new strain or try these Critically Smashed.
Thanks all.
