Upl;oading from a laptop when travelling

I could surf away and probably get the answers, but so maybe we could all learn something here, is there a cheap way to upload via satellite for example, from a laptop, when 100s of miles from the nearest hard wire internet connection :shrug:

I think a Gprs card in the lappy is the cheapest way not the fastest but cheap I believe that some like the O2 are even free check out EBay or run a Google search.

Thanks fella's. Now sorted :D

It appears some telephone satellites rotate with the earth but some shut down to re=charge via solar power until its above the next best subscribing nation.
I've found the best one for me but thank you all for your 2cents :)
