3 Part ?

Some of us are old timers and some are newbs some of us are somewhere inbetween. The one thing I bet we all share is the quest for "the best new" strain. This site is an incredible resource for first hand testimonial on strains.

There are some of us who may be vacationing in say in the Canadian Pacific Northwest, or Spain , or Holland, or....WV;)

This could be an opportunity to expand the strain base .... maybe:rolleyes:

So here are my three ?s

1) Is there a strain that you have grown and discontinued, that you wish you still grew now?

2) Is there a strain that was a complete bust and not worth the energy put into a good grow?

3) Is there a strain you have never grown, that you would like to try?

My answers are:

1) Juicey fruit, mmmmmmmmmmm!:p

2) Big Bud = big bust:mad:

3) Mango, I like my fruit references:cool:

Hmmmmm, my short list :)

#1 - Bubble Funk and Dumpster. Both were too sativa for my grows and I couldnt tame'm.

#2 - Early Swazi - best suited for outdoors where you can plant it and come back 4 months later. Anything else was more labor then it was worth. Buzz was AT BEST a good schwag.

#3 - Sour Diesel. I had a cross with it (chemdawg X sour diesel). If I timed it just right I could "choose" my flavor. 5 weeks in flower it would have that just burnt diesel fuel/lemony twang, but by week 7-8 it was back to a skunky/ dog shit aroma, flavor mostly skunky tho.

1) white rhino

2) white willow wasnt a complete bust it gave me good yeild of bomb bud but gave me the most trouble with bananas i ever had

3) ak-47/bubbleberry i to like the fruity sweet buds

from what ive read sour diesel and og kush come from chemdog so your cross is basicaly sour diesel x sour diesel. chemdog is a western mass strain it made its way to NY and was renamed diesel made it to cali and called og kush
i bet its an awsome strain :D:D:D

Yeah, it was killer. When I stopped growing the skush, this took its place and I DEFINITELY traded UP:D

A Bagseed one I grew out couple years back....She shoulda been a keeper

I didn't like the JFxCh, just didn't do it for me. but wouldn't say a complete bust. Don't think I ever grew out a (non-hermie) plant and was totally disappointed.
3) Is there a strain you have never grown, that you would like to try?
A good pure Sativa. Grown out only Indicas and Hybrids, but would love a wurl with a pure sat.

I just didn't like it, gave me a funky buzz. I let er finish good, just an odd high for me. Made me dwell on chit and think a lil dark....can't quite explain it. Was better for me as day smoke and keeping busy, but at night....not that fun cuz reason i have insomnia is from thinkin about chit too much. But one I won't have in my garden again.
