Was gonna call this thread 'Southern California in Spring' but decided that wouldn't be encouraging others to join in, which of course I must do. :D
I only ask that you only post your own pics, photochopping is fine but please state that you did.
Details on camera used would be nice. ;)
So here is some of mine, Nikon D40 with stock glass, no editing done unless otherwise stated (other than resizing and compressing).
Feel free to use any of my photos you like, no need to ask. :)

As far as DSLR cams go, not too expensive, around $500 for full factory kit.

Couple pics of freind's cams. These are much more expensive, especially the glass, but still not really 'top of the line'. Roughly 5x more costly than mine but 1/10th the price of the best.

Ooohhh I love this thread. I also have a DSLR (Canon Rebel XT) but I actually prefer my little point & shoots.

first pick is a plant that comes up every year and i love it because it looks like weed grows just as fast so its easy to hide a few in there
the second, third and last are wildflowers in my yard and the fourth pic is of my tiger lilys taken off
