Leaf Color

Fellow Growers,

I got a quick question for ya. I recently got some clones from a buddy of mine. The initial color of the leaves were a dark green (a typical looking pot leaf ). I now have had them for about a month in pots and most of the new growth has a much lighter color leaf. Is this normal? As the plant matures is this when the leaf color changes? Or is it something different (wrong) that I am doing than my buddy who gave me the clones? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

new growth is always a lighter green, that usually turns darker green as the leaf opens and gets bigger....

holy shit... I just took another blast of my scissor goo before I started writing this... and it hit me like a bag 'o hammers all-of-a-sudden :D

forgot about what I was going on about there for a moment... lol :eek:

oh ya... just keep an eye on the new growth for when it is approx the same size as the old... should be about the same color...

or... buddy could have already been giving ferts, and now that u've stopped, the girl is telling you she's hungry...
