I've been reading these forums for the past year or so, and I finally got around to making an account/starting to grow some weed.

Anyway, I felt inspired after reading a certain thread and decided to shamelessly copy his design essentially to the tee.

Here's the basic layout, 3'x2'x3'

I plan on using two 150w lights in the flowering chamber, and a htgsupply 10k lumen compact t5 in the veg chamber. Here's one finished hps cooltube and the t5 fixture:
(that "ruler" is 15" fyi)

The plan is to use a 4" 172CFM Vortex to cool the whole cab.
For stealth reasons, I want to keep the carbon filter inside the cab, how realistic is this? Is it okay to pull through the filter through the light and then out?

Any suggestions or anything would be great, as I'm not good at this type of stuff. Thanks!

don't see a prob with that like but the fan seems a bit week.... just gonna have to try it out and adjust if need be ;)

stealth, man?... s'all cool, 'n all... but... do a room :D ... think that's what I'm gunna do next... piss on this few plants bullshit... I gotta grow some serious weed to satisfy my need... F U C K I T

like CB said... you will more than likely find your cfm isn't enough. here's the electrician's say...

get yourself as big a fan as possible... like I'm talking to evacuate a room... if need be, that is... and simply put it on a rheostat if you don't need the rpm going on the fan... just make sure the motor is variable, and not single speed.

Glad you decided to join in and start posting. Very cool picture! Did you make that? If so in what program? Even a Nintendo Wii in there lol.

Setup looks nice... Two 150hps in approximately 4 square feet is a lot, but as long as you can control the heat it could be OK. You will probably have to also keep your plants short or flower somewhat quickly.

As long as you set up your cab well and keep it lightproof, somewhat vented and not sweltering hot, your plants should do fine. :p don't forget to water them either.

Nice little setup as for the C filter you could keep it in the cab but it will take up a lot of room maybe fabricate a square filter would be a better idea as it uses the surface area better, as for the lamp I think I would go for a single 250w and cool tube that setup would produce less heat and more lumen penetration than 2x150w.
Ah yes forgot almost welcome to the forum its a cool place to be:pass:
