5 Girls from Manitoba and their winter journey

Well I was going to wait to start a journal on here but what the hell. It was started somewhere else and I will finish it in here. Will give a quick rundown of the setup and bring it up to date. I use a 8x8 room usually but I have shrunk it down for this grow.

Room:3x4
Lights:2x600hps
Can Carbon Filter
1 Inline intake fan
1 vortec exhaust fan
2 stationary fans for air flow
Soilless Mix
5g pots
Advanced Nutes Organic Line: Iguana Juice Bloom
Mother Earth Super Tea Bloom
Sensezyn
Carboload
5 seeds of Afghani x Manitoba Poison x Shiva (strain being worked on by friend, first seeds planted by me) Manitoba Poison is used because it has a mold resistance and the other 2 because they are great strains.


The girls are currently at 22 days of 12/12 lighting. I was holding off with removing any growth but last night I broke down and removed all of the under canopy leaves and shit. They were a pain in the ass to keep removing as they died off so I just removed them. No light down there anyways, so my thinking is they are useless to the growth now. So I will be making some cannabutter tonight with all the trimmings. Will post some pics of the grow tonight when I get some batteries for my cam. They died as I was about to take some pics for you. So tonight I will post them and an update. If the journal is followed great. If not....... oh bloody well.

Cool, looking good HOF. They look well into flower for 22 days and some nice large fans too. I'd say looks like a winning strain, but does it smoke like one?

I'm south of Calgary and the weather here is awesome. it's been raining on the coast so much that we havent had a day below -5 all month:p

Maybe a new gov't is in charge of the warm sunny days. Maybe we influenced the yanks into HAARPing us into some decent climate for once:lol:

Well I was really impressed with these in veg. Have tried it from a clone that was flowered out, it was pretty good. I think it was a little early though. Will let these go longer into flower. Glad to have you along 2thumbs .

Well that rain in B.C. has given us an awesome winter so far. Warmest January ever on record. Now saying that......it is not the shit to be in usually. We go from +38 down to -50. Such extremes but the weather in here is just fine :smoke1: . Glad to have you along 2thumbs .


I did not want to trim these plants but they were so dam bushy that the lights did shit. Had no choice but to trim it all out (pic underneath after trim). So I will see what comes of this. Gave the ladies some food tonight.
2L of R/O water
30ml Iguana Bloom
15ml Mother Earth Tea
7.5ml Senssizym (I dont think I have spelt this word the same 2 times in a row)
5ml Carboload

Should get some good butter perhaps from the trim. Other than that....they look ok tonight, a little worn from all the trimming maybe. Here are some pics from tonight. I am one of the worst people for using a cam. Every third shot is ok.

Well I did manage to get one shot off before my batteries died. I really need to get a charger. Flushed one plant tonight. I do one each night over the next 4. If I do more than one in either the 8x8 or this 3x4 room the RH goes way to high even with dehumidifier. So one at a time works perfect. They are only getting RO water here on out. So I have done a small work out of colas. The one I flushed tonight has the main cola which is 16.5 in. Then it has a secondary main cola which is 12 in. With 10 colas at 6-11 in and 3 at 4 in. The girth is getting bigger. I will give the second one tomorrow. This is one of the smaller buds from tonights flushed plant.
