ok peeps,we are back up and running but the only way to do so was to go back to the 22nd:o.the data base was all messed up.
any post or threads that was posted after the 22nd would of been lost due to the backup date.
sorry about this folks and all will need to clear cookies to.
once again sorry for the inconvenience.

real sorry for the lost post from sat/sun/mon and the down time:o
also thanks a ton cranky for the hours you put into get'n us sorted out..(was up till 9am:eek:) and i spent bout 15 hours pull'n my hair out....
will get the homepage set backup and treak around with a few other things.....
will sort the upgrade in a couple weeks as we have both had enough for now and need to let our eye's uncross a bit:)
again real sorry for the lost post:o
so back to grow'n the herb we go:D

yes mate.we've basically gone back to how the forum was Saturday just gone(22/3/08).just a few changes to be done on the home page by CB but thats about it.

if you cant see it does IE block inline bb code? as thats all it's is... same as inline pic's on the forums but with no html code...
just need to know for the few that do use the IE browser and what version you have?

I guess the version that comes with Windows Vista must be one that blocks it because we cant see the pic on the home page and that's what we have. Everything else looks OK tho. ~SQ~

firefox lets you see the real format and how it should look :D
windblows Internet Explorer forces you to see it how bill gates would like you to see it:mad:
This is why there our better browser out there that are WAY more secure and user friendly;)
I will try to at least get the potm to work for IE users but don't know why you cant see an inline piccy in bbcode format??? I use it all the time in the forums sections... see if i can get it to work with html codes instead... this pic is inlined with bbcode same as home page, can you guys see it?

i just did ctrl f5 to IE and mozilla no luck i even had to install flashdrive to see u-tube on mozilla but like sticky said thats seems to be the only thing
back on windows xp here and installed IE 7
it works for me in both just fine :shrug:
the probs is on your end i think... try the how to clear cookie thread again and when done close your browser then try again
also dump ALL you browser cashe as well
let me what that does

ok with me using what some of ya call winblows..
I have changed in my favorites the home page so it has the new look..but if i click on the top or the forum home it brings me to the old look, i see the gallerys ect. but to get to the new look homepage i have to close it all and go back to my favs and click on the new look..
which is ok for me..
I use winDOWS live 8.1-xphome and have never had a problem with WinDOWS..(i had a milliuem pc once..that gave me problems took it back got xp instead.)

those are the FORUM home page links..... they take you to the forum home page with gallery piccys on them ... both do that for me..
if you click on the HGB logo it takes you to HGB home page
does that make since now? there is no redirect in place now
