Sticky's New Grow Room..

Well things are finishing up nicely. Sticky has almost got the room done. He only has the Veg Cab and another wall to put up and then I think all of the building will be done. Sticky and Pothead(BTW Thanks for everything Bro) ran all the electrical outlets, added the new light and We have already moved some of the girls into their New flower room... boy do they love it in there too. Peace ~SQ~

So here's all the pics of the room being put together.

Part 2 The wiring of the outlets, putting up the door & the 400w HPS(for flowering) and adding some of our ladies to their new Flowering room. Sticky has to Finnish up the Veg Cab he will be putting up a 400W MH in there;)
and then he has a few other odds and ends to do before everything is complete but things are moving along and I figured I'd share with all of you what he has been up to lately. Hope you all like it because I sure do :D;)

BUT..... I'm not a big fan of wood next to fire (400w lamp)...... please do look into replacing the lowering bracket of the lamp (bulb) with a metal bracket.

Also the mirror reflects light at odd angles and tends to cause 'spotty burning'...... keep an eye on that.
Sticky or Pothead...... find some scrap Tyvek around one of your job sights.... or just stop by a job thats using the stuff, never hurts to ask for scraps... that stuff works nicely for light reflection....... also does a grand job of covering the old walls.

ya I'm gonna buy the stuff i need this week end thanks for the concern guys :D but for now i took the light off the wood and just hung it there also painted the walls so it will brighten the room:D gonna also buy some Mylar to this weekend:D but till then here are some pics:D I'm trying guys that's all that matters right;)

Definitely put up some flat white or mylar walls in there, it should help. For potm pics, queen, get those babies out of the HPS light if you can. You take great pics and I think they would have a better chance if they werent orange. :D

I always like to see stuff built at home. can't wait to see that room filled with bud. Much respect! :)

it's ok, becky...that's down in the basement, and he only has like, 1 or 2 lights, at less than 500W a piece... hot water tanks, furnaces, ac units, clothes dryers... those are all commonly found in the basement... not to mention living quarters... some stereos are rated over 1000W... that defrosted roof was cuz of the grow being in the attic where there is no insulation beneath the shingles and roof sheathing.

Thanks for your concern Becky...I have to agree with the fellas on this one(and you know how hard that is for me to do...hahaha) but, they make good point as to the location having a few "High Heat" areas as well as not being in the attic close to the roof;) I will look into if my state/city uses heat sensors or not like CB mentioned.

Sticky, buddy... I'm curious... how are the temps in the box with that many CFL's in there?... I've got 450W equiv of Daylight bulbs to light up 8 sq ft in my box and the babies are growing like stink...I'm thinking if you find you are having heat issues with that many lower wattage bulbs in there, seeings how you are using thermal blankets for wall reflextors (insulation, buddy...), you might want to think about just going with 2 or three higher wattage bulbs, rather than so many smaller ones... I would think would create less heat... (they are more efficient).

just a thought from an electrician....

dude thanks for think of heat issues but at the moment my Dick head boss left me home all week because i had to take Friday off because the wife was in the hospital no one would watch my kids so i could work so i took the day off and he left me home all week can you say looser anyways dont have the funds and seeing i have time right now i been dragging the plants in the flower room when Those lights are on so they can catch some hps rays and i can shut the cfls off for a few That wont last long but for now its fun hehe Plus im still do some work in there so it works out that i take them out:p. maybe i will take a few bulbs out i have 4 150s in there forget what they = but i check the temps and its been 70 in there all morning if i leave the door open drops to 60 my flower room only gets 69 when the lights are on and drops to 54 when they are off remember i have a dirt floor in the basement so its cool down there :D Thanks for stopping in bro love when i get some tips so keep throwing them;) peace

the low of 54 is pretty low... around 55-60 the plant stops all uptake of nute's and goes dormant

raise the pots up off the floor a bit with somit so the soil wont cool so bad ;) keep the soil worm bro;)
