seen the vid of the marines throwing a puppy? what do you think ? Really disturbing to me but I'm a sensitive, bleeding heart, tree hugging, pot smoking, liberal. I really want to know how my fellows think about such things. Sometimes I feel like I'm lost in my own peaceful dillusion.

i haven't seen it or heard of it but if their throwing it for fun thats not cool. if it was rabid or somethiing i could understand but eventhen you shouldnt abuse the dog. i'm a tree hugger too, oh wait i'm a pot smoker but trees are cool too:D

any crualty to animals is not tolerated in my book:mad: i think people like that should have to go threw the same abuse they gave out.;)
Well, I'm not a tree hugging liberal (more like a conservative huntin redneck :p)....but cruelty should have no place on this earth. It takes a "certain" mentality to be cruel that most potheads don't have. ;)
I haven't seen that particular vid, but have seen some kittens tossed outa cars and puppies drowned when fishing...tiss a messed up world bo. Would like to toss one of the forkers out a window and let em know what it feels like. ;)
To kill for food or self preservation is one thing. To kill for pleasure is something different.
saw it and I have no respect for peeps like that... this last dog we got was a rescue dog that had been beat and starved :mad:

This is what I needed to here sometimes on this liberal island we live in (little community in a big city) We don't get "conservative huntin' Redneck" point of view and I really wanted to know if I was being a sissy or there was some real cause for outrage.. after all war is hell

I saw the link posted elsewhere & couldn't bring myself to watch it. Who could harm defenseless little creatures like that deserve to be shot & pissed on. I have a shotgun if anyone feels like taking a piss.
Also saw that there's an online crusade to get this fucker. His name, location, etc are all floating around the interweb.

I don't want to put down a whole group of people but lets just say that I've never seen or heard of a "liberal" abusing an animal... :rolleyes:
I live in the bible belt and my wife and I do volunteer work for two pet Rescue organizations and a I have got to tell you that we see more abused animals around here than I thought possible. Shot and lived, battery acid poured on their backs, thrown from vehicle windows, beaten, untreated broken bones the list of cruelty is long... We lived in the SF Bay area for 20 years before this and never saw this kind or as much abuse. Christianity and conservativism seem to produce pretty cruel people, not all, but more than you would think.
The military, especially the Marine Corps (of which I am a former member and my son is currently serving in) tends to be very conservative minded; couple that with the kind of stress you find in combat and it doesn't surprise me to see this kind of thing... and Abu Ghraib... :mad:
I doubt it that you are really a conservative Dawg. A redneck hunter I don't doubt (if you say so) but I bet you're more moderate than you think. :cheers:
