I am starting my first grow from seeds, my first two grows were from clones. I just received my order of Blueberry seeds... Now I have two questions. First question, they said that they are femanized. Does that mean that they will all be girls or are they just makeing an educated guess? Next question, I read some place that there is no true Blueberry from seed; only from clone. Is this true that you can only get the real Blueberry from clone? If so what the hell did I just spend my lunch money on? Sorry, I guess that was three questions... :happy:
DJ shorts started blueberry here in oregon long ago and when he left, all he left was mommy plants :)
only way I have gotten BB is from clone.....
fem seeds carry the hermie gene which can show at any time, and most breeders like us will avoid that at all cost

most herms I have had showed in mid/late flower but I have seen pics of them pre flower as well:) and both look different to me....pre flower seems to have common ball type pods while the mid/late flower look more like a small banana and same color...

OK, that does make sense. I will keep an eye on them to see if they get to looking strange... Thanks for the info..

you can get DJ's bb from his second go around with it no problem;)
just not from what he started here;)

yes they are, I haven't had any in a couple years tho
Can check out CC (cannabis Culture) under there back issues online look for "the origins of blueberry by DJ Short" will tell ya how he got it. Good read...sorry can't post the link here. it's issue #20 I think. If ya have trouble finding it shoot me a PM I'll get ya the link.
