OK you all mostly know that i have these two plants outside and they had a late start to flowering anyways the temps have been dropping the last few nights to the 30s and the weather says that its gonna rain all week and be cold too.:( My buds are still developing and are not ready for harvest at all should i take them in down in my basement which is three floors down from my grow room there will be no sun on them all week my only worry is the mites that still feast on my plants they are very limited but i do not want them to invade my grow room so will it be safe to have them in the basement if not what do you all recommend??

you had better not keep them in the dark for a week. if ya got 12/12 lighting in your basement i say go for it. better off in the rain and cold than a weeks dark in the basement, i would think.

As CB Mentioned , Bringing Them Inside Would Be Courting Disaster , Increasing Mould Vulnerability As Well As Accelerating Comfortable Conditions For Spider Mites
It's Up To The God's
But Of Course You can remove All Areas That May harbour Moisture, And Shake Plant Stalk To Expel Excess Water

I have heard really good things about the effectiveness of predator mites inside. i had a huge amount in my indoor grow since i use outside soil and there is no overstating how very many there were. they thrived like no one's business. but they do not really climb on the plants, they roam the soil. perhaps they would climb up there if there were mites for them to eat tho since that is their purpose when being sold.
re outside low temps, a plant can certainly finish trichrome production even if it is freezing every night but the plant will not put on additional mass otherwise.
a big danger is that high winds or hard precip can smash a plant and break off branches or crystals.
Season extension and protection measures could be taken. doing so can routinely extend a season at least two weeks either in the fall or spring. Perhaps a wood frame with clear plastic; it may need to be opened in the non-storm and non-freeze times to keep it from baking or molding. A source of heat placed within the same enclosure can increase the active growth a plant considerably of course.
