Partial Harvest with possible bugs question-

Okay, noticed today that I had buds that were turning brown. Thanks for the smart knowledgable folks here at HGB I learned I had a catterpillar or worm problem. I harvested about 2/3 of the plant. I left those small bottom buds on.

I heard on another board about using a mixture of water and disolved asprin to get rid of bugs....anyone ever hear of this?

Any suggestions on what to do with the rest of my Misty?

never had any problems with bugs other than this year grasshoppers attacked some of my outdoor plants, so I moved them back inside for the most part. Hope you find a solution.

read up on that a couple years ago but never found any scientific proof so filed it in the wife's tale's folder :p

bout the only way to control the cabbage moth larvae is to hunt it down 1 by 1 and give em a little pinch untill stuff ooz's out of them:D

we have these in our vegie's as well and try to get the moths before they lay eggs, even the cat helps but plays with them to much i think.... we use badmitten rackets and give them a close up look of the of there colons as they ooz thru the woven screen :D

give the rest of the plant a good look over and let it finish if you can

like cb said, ma.... not much you can do but keep watching and wait it out. doesn't look like ya got much more on there. hopefully the give up and let ya finish out those buds. get 'em nice and dank, let 'em finish finish finish!
