soil grow : plants are just starting to flower. so my wife picked up some M/G called pour & feed the ratio is 0.02 0.02 0.02.... but i read that the ratio should be 5-50-17 for flowering stage but at least 10-20-10... So would the miracle-gro be bad to use for start of flowering ... im going to try to get something else. Would any 1 have any segestions??

the .02-.02-.02 is ok to use thru the stretch. Use it lighter then the directions say at first, then the next feeding step it up to almost full strength if they took the first one ok.

Personally, as far as off the shelf ferts go, Im a big fan of Better Gro Orchid nutrients. Use at 1/2 strength unless you see a deficiency. I've found it at Lowes and Home Depot, but more often at lowes. While you're in there, stop by the spot where the tomato sprays are. Look for one called Blossom End Rot, on the label the ingredients should say CaCl (theres a second one comes in a spray bottle who's ingredients are Cytokinins, this is another fun product to try out but use only 2-3 times a cycle. Dont spray it, shake the bottle and mix 2-3ml of it to a gallon of water. watch the secondary growth :) ). Ok so the CaCl stuff, use it each feeding/watering at 1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon. Only mix it into a gallon of a water, do not toss the BGO in then the CaCl without water being in the container. It wont explode:eek:, but it could make some elements precipitate out and not be usable by the plants.

No, comes in a baggie just like the peters stuff does. The deep purple bag is used for flower, the green bag is veg.

I think its the cactus ferts that I've seen in a drip bottle.
