I have two pks of these God-forsaken cigs left in a carton...and nicotine things you put in your mouth that doses you up from like oct....so I may try to give up smoking again..haha..Give up the cancer stix in 2006!...but looking back I dunno how successful I will be b/c history shows that when I try to shed this demon...it is like a portal for the anti-christ!!...so in the past I quickly chose to shade it with the lesser demon and everyone near me was relieved.

Smoking is not only a filthy habit as the inside of your windshield will show..but is a health risk to others..altho I have a hepa in the bedroom..and what gets me..is that is like a conscious form of slow suicide bla-bla...Fook!..now I did it..I let my bullfrog mouth outweigh my tadpole ass. haha

I also want to start treating everyday like it may be my last....err..close to the last....maybe further than that. :D

Well I never make one anymore. I made the I'm gonna quit smoking a couple times but never worked. I quit about 6 years ago in the middle of summer. Long story but I was driving down the road and decided that was the time. I tossed 2 1/2 packs of cigarettes and a $60 Zippo out the window. I didn't smoke anything for about a year. Then I started smoking my pot again, then about another year later I smoked a cigarette when I was smashed at a bar. I still don't smoke but I do enjoy a cigar from time to time, on special occasions.

Anyhow, My New Years resolution this year is to lose weight. I didn't specify how much. Last summer I bought a huge weight bench set and used it for a little bit. So, I am gonna start working out 2 days a week for now and hopefully I can make it a constant habbit and eventually bump it up to 3 days a week. I would like to lose about 35 pounds but I think 25 is more reasonable. I'm not fat but I have the normal guy gut. I'm 28 and just need to get things back in better order. So, we'll see what happens.

Good luck to all the resolution makers we have out there this year.

I used to look after a neighbor that smoked from when he was 12 till he died at 96. Even when he died he was living by himself doimg everday chores as anyone would.
A nurse used to tell me it makes little difference to your health but it does effect your fitness/breathing ability.
Not sure what angle to take it but I'vetried giving up several times but old evil head comes on and everyone else gets my grief.

I have a good feeling this year will be mine. Not sure how but I feel it in me water 2thumbs

You'll find the booze easier to give up than you think Cranks. I still need a couple of blasts a year and no doubt I'll have a blast on hols in March, but from a drinker who has been pissed at least 4 nights a week for 23 years, I never had a real problem stopping.
It was quite a suprise to myself having lost family to alcohol but the only time I found it quite difficult was camping in cornwall early this year. There was 12 adults drinking and I was holding out. They were getting pissed and losing any inhibitions whilst I went to bed and looked forward to the morning. I could have done with a drink then but by morning I was fine. Like I say, you don't have to stop, but just choose when, where and who you do it with. The who bit being of importance when your Mrs is an old nag.

If it's comfort to anyone who wants to give up booze, I feel a fucking lot sharper in the mind for having given up regular drinking.

well bro being brought up in a pub,ive done my fair share of the old drinking game....and ive pretty much cut down on the booze the last 6 months...only drinking when i go back home to see the folks and the odd special ocastion in the house and to be honest..i never missed it.

as long as i got a smoke im a happy bunny bro.just latley when ever i go and have a drink somit kicks off..and then i get the blame as ive had a drink even if its not me that started it.

just best alround like ya say to stay off it 100%.that way no fucker can pont any fingers like;)

Spot on! If you lived in a pub sober you must have laughed at the inevitable that happens Cranks? Like with any group of drinkers, when your sober you can say to yourself, "that's gonna hurt that is" or "shall I say somethin and save them the embaressment" but you don't, you just watch the mayhem and wonder how the feck you got through life in the same state.
Your right about it kicking off too buddy. I don't get agro but theres been a couple of people that if I'd have had a couple inside me I would have dealt with. Luckily being sober puts an older head on yer shoulders! And a harder knob.

Anyways, what souil do you think you'd get for the wife?

well bro im not afraid to admit that in drink i can be a wanker...not all the time(only if i mix my drinks with top shelf) and normally i end up upsetting those i care most about when i slip into a mad state of drunkeness...

dont get me wrong....im no alcoholic like but at 31 ive come to the conclusion that its not the drinks fault but my fault for getting so drunk when i know i could end up being a plonker and regreting it the next day.

we can have fun without getting pissed as farts huh

so heres to the new year and new things to come.may it be a better year for us all2thumbs
