Does any 1 here now anything about how to get rid of insects on plants that are outdoors. I tried soap/water and it didnt work just turned the leaves brown. My plants are getting little holes in the leaves. From what i can tell there little black bugs but the sure eat big.

Im pretty sure rev has posted his mite concoction, but it should work on all types of insects.if i remember correctly it wasnt a quick fix more so a prevenitive maintnance type deal with a kicker dose to knock them down intitially.this might be it not sure but a great read anyways (http://www.homegrownbud.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1366)

What sort of soap did you use? Dishwashing detergent seems to work better than regular soap. You can also find insecticidal soaps specifically for plants that might help. However, if they are some sort of caterpillar I don't think soap will work...you just have to be diligent and keep a watchful eye. Make sure you soap at night so the leaves have time to dry. If the sun hits the leaves while they are wet they can incur more damage. Keep in mind it will probably take more than one application as well.
Good luck.

last year I used limonene, lemon peel boiled in water then cooled and sprayed on the plants, helped a bit but didn't stop the locusts!
