Hellow Friends,

frist time grower....and totally hooked. I am having what I think is nute lockout. I think my rookie mistake of too much perlite in my soil is the problem, I have transplanted but not much luck....what should I do. I am going to attach some pics, look at the spots on the leaves and the bottom yellow leaves.....thanks for all help and I am glad to be one of us....homegrower.

hey harrica-
it kind of looks overwatered, but the red/purpling in the stems may also indicate a lockout/deficiency.
do you have a ph meter?
if ya don't have one, that's one of the best places to start. get a hydro ph meter, so you can keep the water and nute solution at 6.5 when ya water or feed.
for now, i would suggest giving them a good flush with plain h2o, ph'd to 6.5, then give them a few days to dry out (until the pot feels light) before watering again.
you shouldn't have a problem with the pearlite. my soil is 40% fox farms, 60% pearlite, and my plants love it.

Yeah I got a PH meter and it stays around 7, which I thougt was ok...I will try and flush it out and let dry for a couple of days....thanks
