Hi everybody!
I would like to thank you for stopping by this next crazyness by GT.
----------
Here is the expected map of madness:
1 In this grow Journal, I will begin by setting up my veg chamber
2 Then continue to improve my Flowering Box
3 We will Veg with 6 Strains, 3 the first month, 3 the next month for a 4 week rotating harvest.
4 The 6 strains will be grown in 6"x6"x7" pots, from flower day 1 till finish.
5 Fight the bugs, errors, and poop of the 8 weeks of flower
6 Smoke :gt:
---
Please pull up a chair, relax, and TALK TO ME DAMN IT! I'm NICE!
ok. :peace:

Starting with 6 strains, man, how sweet is that? I hate to ask as I will certainly be only more jealous, but what are they? Your timing is nice, I was just thinking in my room last night that since my grow is coming to an end, I will have to start looking around here for someone else's to follow for surrogate fun. Good luck, and I'll be watching with envy.

Step 1: Install Light
What I did was install a 45 watt Compact Flo into a 19 gal Tub. I drilled a hole and applied a worklight fixture without the hood (the hood wouldn't fit with the cfl's ballast).

The next step will be to visit the hardware store and purchase a muffin fan for exaust.
Now you may be asking "GT! Why arn't you using HPS or MH or even MV?!! And no reflective material?!?! WTF?!" and I respond with "Since this veg chamber will only be used for 3 weeks, it does not need to be "high tech" in any way, simply ment to get the rooted clones a little new foliage and for them to get used to thier new medium (TBD)."

LOL GT, I built a temporary rubbermaid veg tub once. Ended up using it for almost 2 years. Rooting clones was its primary use and a Circuline flourescent seemd to handle that job the best.
Also, I had to put reflective material in it, because with none the box would glow and it needed to be stealth, glowing wouldnt cut it. It also resided close to my flower box, so light traps were needed on intakes and exhaust. All in all it ended up one heck of a project, but well worth it in the end.
Best of luck to you that these babies cooperate 100%. No early stalls in veg growth for you my dear. See ya laters

Hey there midwestbluntman
I'm actualy using a Muffin fan which is used by plenty of servers. Its ball-bareing (sp? I dont' know the guy at the shop said it was) . But any how, the pic of it is down below. And I'll push the equipment overtime to get you a POTM winner!
:haha: :lamp::flog:
Fillabong, 4 lbs?!?! Are you crazy? lol I wish. 2thumbs But I like your thinking!
Shadows OMG shadows, you should see the tub! It's like a glow worm!
-----
So here is what I've done: I installed a 14 watt muffin fan, drilled 2 passive intake holes at the bottom of the bin, and placed two small clone plants at the bottom. Temp reads 78f at 73 Ambient.
STRAINS THAT I'M STARTING WITH:
Hindu Kush and Strawberry Cough
More strains will be added every 3 weeks to great a good and steady rotation.

Hi,
I was thinking - dangerous - if you put black tape on the box you could shape the tape to look like a mouth, nose and eyes. Then you would have a square pumpkin.....

There might be a problem. The clones I saved arn't doing to well. I'm going to try some emergency procedures that I'll document in this journal, but I'll have to prepare you for total disapointment if I lose the hindu kush and strawberry cough clones.

Have a merry xmas.

Then Simply filled some pots:

Hey everyone...
Has everyone recovered from the XMAS slump already??? I havn't. I'm still trying to kick myself into gear.
LdyLunatic, cranky - You know, the clones have just been sitting in there as the entire box acts kinda like a humid dome, but I think the exaust might be too powerful to keep it super humid like a dome might, so I will try that.
The girls that I tried to save... well i flushed them this morning. In the photo below you'll only see 1 pot empty, but it is two.
However as you can see, there is a Hindu kush plant and new strawberry cough clone to keep it kicking! Also the somewhat "healthy" plant on the left is also a strawberry cough.
- I figure about 2 more weeks and we'll be able to put something into flower 2thumbs
Be good!

Good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Hindu Kush rooted. It is not potted and good to go!
But into the box went a good Lifesaver clone. Pictures tomorrow! Today, I'm tired.
