Well this grow was started on Jan 20. Here is a picture of my best plant flowering. It was all flourescent and I definately needed to veg her another 2-3 weeks, but hey I learned a bunch. Anyway the last is a picture of one of my LST'd plants. I have 4 and they are gonna veg another 2-3 weeks and then the fun begins! I have abused these plants and learned that MJ is hard to kill. Anyway I'll try to figure out how to get pictures up here and post more. Later.

Here are some pictures of my girls. They are looking pretty dang good. If you look closely, you will see one mutant that is cut at the stem and is still growing strong. This really is a weed that is difficult to kill. It will be interesting to see these flower, because I'm not going to top the others and I'm going to let the main stem start to grow upward again. I'm hoping I can get that nice big bud AND lots of nice little nuggets! Anyway, I can't wait to get some time and do a "What I've learned so far" type thread. Well enjoy the pics and I'll talk to you all later.

Well these girls have some growing to do. I saw TBG do a LST bush and he put 2 plants in a tupperware storage container. I like his idea so I'm going to copy him. I'm going to Home Depot today and I'm also going to get some rocks and sand for drainage, and Blood Meal and Bone Meal to mix with the dirt. I'm going to do a much better job with drainage and ferts this time. So the plan is 2 containers with 2 plants in each. After I transplant them, I'll move them into the upper chamber and veg them another 10 - 14 days with 14 hours of light. I'll also start to give them red light and then move to 12/12 and let the show begin. I'll get pictures up on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone.

You are correct Budman. That bud I'm getting ready to harvest was grown under T12 flourescent tubes. I used 2 types of flourescent bulbs. One is a 6,500k "blue" bulb that I have used to veg the plants and the other is a 2700k "red" bulb that I use to flower the plants.

I can't wait to get these babies transplanted. I mixed my soil on Saturday. I'm adding Viagro Rose Food 12-6-10 with Minors. Then when they start to flower I will give them Bone Meal which is 1-10-0. They are going in 5 gallon terra cotta pots. Drainage was an issue in my last grow so this time I'm putting a layer of pond rocks on the bottom of the pot and covering that with a thick layer of sand. Then I will add my dirt with the slow release fertilizer added and I will use nothing but water and bone meal for the rest of the grow. I will get updated pics up tommorrow morning hopefully. Thanks for checking in all. Later.

Heya yorker mate :)

Thats a fine grow you got goin!
I myself have allways been so damn paranoid about fluo grows, but u clearly show how achievable it is!
Love to see how you got the whole thing figured out, shows a nice amount of experience under your current conditions...

Hey all. Well here are the pictures I promised. The first 4 pics show how I transplanted them. The next ones are of the four of them in the closet. The last one is a closeup of clone that is 4" tall. That is the top half of the plant showing it's sex.

To transplant them I put a layer of rocks, then covered that with sand and watered the sand into the rock, then put dirt in pot, then put plant in pot and filled with dirt. The dirt was mixed with 12-6-10 slow release fertilizer with minors (adds stuff like magnesium, boron, zinc and a few other things that are supposed to be good for the plant). Now all I will do is water them until they are 3-4 weeks into flowering. Then I will give them a good shot of Bone Meal to take them home.

Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Nice veg cab yorker, where do you flower? For anyone growing in a cabinet I am recommending the cosmic night strain that I have going now as they didn't even get 2 feet tall and one is about a 25" cola and very, very sticky. I think they would be a great cabinet plant, but they look kinda puny in my grow room with an 8' ceiling. Good luck and I'll swing back by.

Hey Peakguy. The cabinet has two chambers. I'm vegging the plants in the flower chamber just to get them used to their new surroundings since being transplanted. I switched the lights to 12/12 yesterday, so the flowering has begun. The plants are between 10" and 14" tall and I figure they will triple in size before all is said and done. Thanks for checking in. Later.:gthumb:

Edit-Here's some pics from today. I harvested the one plant and started the others on 12/12 lighting yesterday.

Here are some pictures. I have two plants that turned mutant on me. Instead of fan leaves with 5 or 7 leaves, the plant is producing one massive leaf at each node. Anyone ever see this before? Can't wait to see what the freak does. I've heard that some of these mutant plants can produce some amazing bud.

I destroyed one of the plants because it was small and weak and moved the mutant into flowering. I'm going to take a clone from the biggest, strongest plant and make a mother plant out of that. This is really a cool hobby. I just finished all of the smoke from my first grow and it was the best I have ever smoked. Even my buddy Joe was blown away. This time I will get a much better yield. I can tell when I compare these plants 3 weeks into flowering and the first plants 3 weeks in. If anyone has ever seen a mutant freak like this one, let me know. Later.

Man thats a dark green. Looks real nice. I noticed one of my plants had some sections with 3 big leaves with red stems, but wow, 1 leaf thats pretty wild indeed. Can't wait to see how they turn out in the end.

I have to say I'm very happy with the overall health of the plants. I found, what appears to be, an excellent fertilizer. It is Vigoro Rose Food 12-6-10 with minors. It's a slow release fertilizer and I mixed it in with the soil when I transplanted them. Now I'm watering them once a week and that's been it. This is my second crop that I am flowering and these plants look 100 times better then my last plants. I can't wait to see the finished product either!!! I'm going to buy some Bone Meal fertilizer and give them a shot of that as soon as they finish with this last growth spurt. Bone meal is 1-10-0 and I'm pretty sure that's what they need when they are full blown into flowering to produce the biggest, dankest buds ever known to man kind. :gthumb: :band: 2thumbs :rastab: Can't wait to smoke this stuff. I figure another 6 weeks to harvest, although I know I will start sampling way before then. Anyways, going to see Spiderman 3 with the wife and kids. Have a good one all.

Here's some pictures of them. They seem like they are pretty healthy. I trimmed a lot of the bottom fan leaves to give the plants better airflow. I can't wait for the trichomes to start and for them to start getting nice and frosty. I bought some bloom fertilizer at Lowe's and it is 15-55-10. It's water soluable and the plants are doing great since I gave it to them a week ago. Also, there is a picture of the mutant plant about 2 weeks into flowering. Anyway, can't wait to start sampleling those popcorn buds!! Later
