6.3 is a bit low to start with in soil :)

raise water and or feed mix to 7 and see if that brings it up over time...

what brand of meter did ya get?

well i use a soilless mix is why i start with a lower ph. i got a nutrafin wide range test kit measures from 4.5 to 9.0 it uses 4 drops per 1 teaspoon of water. i always thought peat moss with added perlite and vermiculite was considered a soil but was told about a month ago on anouther site it was soilless and was advised to drop the ph down to 6.3 for better results and have noticed a big differance in growth since

One has soil and the other... less soil? :D
