how does she yield, CB? ive never seen one but have always wanted to. do the buds grow different on them or just normal? ive seen alot of threads where people cut them down cause they said they were defective, but if yer growin one they aint defective, eh?

DEFECTIVE?!?!?!?!? people that cut them down are doing themselves a disservice... who knows...being poly could being a blessing perhaps a double yield? People so quick to chop what they don't understand. JMO ~ Rav

I don't know about defective, but I had an afghani strain a while back that would throw a polyploid every now and then, and they were always lower yielding then the rest of the regulars. It could have been that more branches, and more leaves took up energy that the bud could have used, but it could also be more leaves block light to lower budsites which there are more of on a polyploid plant.
I never found the lower yield to be substantial enough to cut down the plant entirely though.

I've had plants throw out 3 nodes, like CB, but only once or twice. Last grow I had a c99 and a BR1947 that topped themselves like crazy.
it is defective.... but will still produce bud just fine :)
wont be use'n it for breed'n thats for sure
will update on this one as time goes by :D

that girl has a huge stem:eek: i think it would cool if they backcrossed a poly until they all have that growth pattern i meen it must produce some huge buds considering you have twice as many bud site
