My weed is growing like weeds

I have three ladies that I have left over to make them mother. The problem is they ire over 5 feet tall and still in veg stage. I there a trimming for dummies book? The other thing is that I only use 3 clone from each kind (Red haired skunk, big bud and earley misty. A thoughts or trick I should know? I have a 1000 HID in a 9X9 room.:o

Not quite sure what your saying about the clones, (ie; whether you only have three of each or were given three of each) but in any case the easiest thing to do with 5 ft moms and little veg space is to take clones from them, and flower the moms. Or if you already have clones, your already half way there. Now just use the clones as mother for the next batch.

I have heard that clones of clones of clones...etc can reduce potency, but this just does not make sense IME, because I've gotten clones, that have existed in someones garden in clone form ONLY for the past ten years, and knowing how this person grows, I know he does not have a ten year old mother. I have been growing this strain for the past three years after I got it, and have noticed no change whatsoever.
