And so we're off....on a new grow...from scratch.
Seeds: 3 Cherry Molawi
Placed in tupperware on damp paper towels ($2000 worth of tupperware and can you find one @%&%@ lid when you need it???). 4/4/7
Three beautiful sprouts, replaced paper towels with rockwool cubes. pH 5.6 ppm 350 (just tap water and rockwool, had to pH down it). 4/6/7
Placed on shelf, room temperature (72-78 degrees) no added heat or light.
These are quite the vigorous seedlings! Check out the growth in 24hrs! I hope they continue throughout their growth. The third seed just isn't budging yet, proclaimed the runt! 4/7/7

Pictures pictures...gotta love pictures... these lil seeds are just wonderful!
The two CM sprouts are stretching a bit but once in the tubs I'll cover the stretch and see how they do.
Three SS sprouts, two have first leaves.
The white widows finally popped. One already with 2 leaves showing.
They are in pH 5.5 rockwool with "orchid" light 3" above them 12/12.

ok..if you put your cursor over the pic the file name is the strain and how old it is.
Might lose two seedlings. One, the end of it's root tore when I lifted it out of it's rockwool and the other got bent putting it into the aero.
Aero has pH 5.6, 324ppm (5ml each hydroguard and dyna-grow) sitting under CFL.
Do you think the seedlings will get crushed in the foam or that they are too young yet? I guess time well tell

Seems like all the plants are settled now. They have a nice routine. Great for them...boring for me :D
I changed out the water in the seedling aero there is 2 gallons water with 5ml each of hydroguard and liquid karma.
Is that pea thing in the second picture a seed?

hey man you better watch out cause someone was in yer garden and flicked a peanut in yer bud haha j/k :halol:
probably a male flower, if i were you i would cut it off and watch for more to appear, but wait for someone else to say something before you do, it might not be a male flower
Is that pea thing in the second picture a seed?

I was going to say a part of the female anatomy but opted not... do you know I went to take pic of it this AM and it wasn't there!...there is a gap where it was...even stranger, I looked all over the caddy floor and the tub...nothing.. like a pimple that popped during the night! ROFL...((gross))...ROFL

Here are my newest pics. I'm concerned due to not much growth in a weeks times. clones are wilted a bit with bottom lower leaves turning yellow. seedlings seem stagnant.
At this time I am running water on clones and seedlings 10mins on and 30 mins off. not enough water? too much water? Nutes off balance?
Last night I took pics and got both reservoirs fresh water (set out for 24hrs to get rid of chlorine) and clones get 10ml of dyna-bloom, 5ml top max, 5 ml sugar daddy. seedlings got 5ml hydroguard and 10ml liquid Karma.
Please, looking for advice here....pic named with date and strain if you put cursor over pic. 3rd pic (yellow) shows "peanut" back...note to the left of it is 3 seeds in one pod.

Ok...got bored today...was chatting with THCV and decided to start some soil seeds. Also moved the seeded plant in the closet so here pics of the set up now.p.s. while looking at the 3rd pic I noticed the blue tinted bulkhead fitting is an algae collector from the flouro light. tomorrow there will be plastic covering.

nice setup 68
one thing tho ........ that ballast under a tank ......
eyeseaire
04-23-2007, 10:47 PM
Yeah dude you should always try to have the ballast outside the grow chamber so as to not add any extra heat, but if this is not possible, at least not under a res of water!
Not trying to be rude here, just trying to let you know, shit can happen, a house/grow-op burned down blocks away from me last year. Not only does that suck for those involved, but it casts a negative shadow on the pot/growing community as a whole.
Stay safe bro!

Sorry sorry... worked 6 very long busy days in a row and I let my posting slide.
Soil grow is still in same container as I'm been "honed" by others on what to do. I plan to transplant them this evening into pots
Lost both my white widows in the aero, too much fiddling with them...but that is how I learn....so I move on..

Ok...I transplanted the seedlings and also put in the seedlings that were in the aerocloner. I put each strain in it's own pot and figured I'd transplant again once the dominent one shows.
Strains:
WW - White Widow
K2xWR - K2 x white rhino
CM - Cherry Malawi
SS - Swazi Safari
AK-48 - AK-48
Let the fun begin :bananna:
K2xWR - K2 x white rhino
you sure thats a white rhino and not a white Russian cross? :)

We've been on vacation for a week...had a bitchin' time... was awesome. The whole week on our motorcycle with our friend on his. Went deep sea fishing... caught a Strawberry Rockfish, Dave caught a Red snapper and a rockfish. We made the most yummmmy cheviache (spell) a salsa made with tomato, onion, ciliantro, mango, apple, spices and the freshest of fresh fish we caught. I'll take pics of the plants tonight when they wake up. They did excellent for being ignored for a week...good thing they are weeds!
