If your worried about temp. use club soda dries into Co2 into the leaves. Just use a spray bottle and soak the whole plant down they'll love it. Also a cheap way of getting Co2 to the plants for us people who can't afford everything.

If your really going to see the benefits of CO2, it's got to be used during flowering. Optimum temp for CO2 is in the high '70's low'80's, I keep my flower box at 79-80 deg. when possible. In the summer my flower box gets as hot as 100 deg. during warm spells and I've weathered it all with few problems but I grow mostly Indica and Indica dominant strains and they're pretty hardy. If you use CO2 only for the vegetative stage, sure, you'll speed that up a bit, but if you want to see increased yield CO2 enrichment must continue into the most vigorous period of bud development, particularly during the stretching and budset stage when the budsites are established. This will encourage your colas to grow longer with more budsites and by continuing the enrichment these sites will pack on the bud more quickly. I usually discontinue the enrichment during the ripening stage as the plant isn't producing much new green matter but more filling the bracts with resin and ripening. CO2 I find tends to deaden smell of the bud a bit so the last couple of weeks without the CO2 helps bring out the flavour more.
