Well I made bubble bags and they didn't work worth a darn, storebought ones are rediculously expensive. I saw an article on this but don't remember where it was from, off another forum for med pot. They were called Gumby Buckets in the article, it seemed simple enough so I decided to try it. here are the steps. It all starts with the Ingredients. This was about 4 ounces of moldy bud, and a bunch of trimmings.
Sorry for the lack of pics for all the steps, I wasn't planning on doing a thread on it when i was making it.

First you will need a clean 5 gallon bucket, I used one that I also brew beer in.
You will also need one of those mixing things that goes in a drill, about 10 bucks at home depot. Cut up all your materials into small pieces and put it in the bucket, then add water and a lot of ice. I used about 10 pounds, I wish I would have had more.

Then take your mixer and mix ti all around with your drill for about 15 minutes. Add more ice if you need to. you then want to take a strainer and get all the ice and materials out of the mix, get as much as you can and then pour through the strainer into another bucket. this should get most of it out. make sure to keep the water agitated at this point and stir it around before you pour it.

You then need to let the fluid sit for at least 4 hours, I let mine sit overnight.
You then want to take a sypon of some sort and sypon the water out down to about 4 inches left in the bucket. You can see all the resin glands swirling around in this picture. stay away from the bottom of the bucket with the syphon and be very careful not to disturb the bottom until most of the water is out and you are ready to go to the next step.

You can then pour this remaining liquid (about a half gallon) into another container, a mason jar or pitcher work well, glass is the best option, but I didn't have anything that big not being used. You then want to let the mixture settle
for a few more hours, I let mine sit overnight again, but it was way overkill. You can already see the resin glands setting in this picture that was taken a few minutes after pouring

In this picture you can see the layer of fine resin glands on the bottom of the pitcher after it sat overnight. You then want to take a small sypon hose (1/4" air line works well) and sypon down to as close as you can to the top of resin layer. If you are careful you can use a turkey baster to get most of the water out.
Make sure to then swirl the remaining liquid around and then pour it into a pyrex pan, put the pan underneath a
lightbulb or blow a fan across it to evaporate the water.

I went one step further and wedged up the pan so one corner was lower than the rest, let it settle; then used a spoon to get even more water out. I don't have any incadescent light bulbs and it was taking for ever to evaporate.

Once the water is evaporated you can then scrape the hash up with a razor blade and start smoking it.
I ended up with around 12 grams, but I did not use very good trim or bud. Next time it will be alot more hopefully. It is pretty tasty though and has been going on the top of my bowls for the past week.

great thread man.
It's all about the return, 12gs is a pretty nice score I reckon.
We'll have to do a comp to see who can get the most out of an oz, I'd love it if a low-tech way like this was the winner.
