Anyone else consistently get a seedling or 2 that twist and shout after the cotyldons? Seems like 1/3 of them makes a fist out of one of the first set (singles) and then is fine....hmmm...could be my soil popping (settling into ph).

Damn G that was fast...somehow I guess I thought I might be able to 'wing it' and bring this up without it including my crappy photography.
Just tried ten pics and I am too ashamed to post them...gonna hurt your eyes.:o For some reason I can't get anything in focus from less than 3 ft away. Lemme try outside I guess...
Also noticed that out of about 15, only 2 showing this now...hmmm...could have swore there were a couple more...maybe they fixed themselves.

ha ha.
i have seen plants do a leaf scrunching thing. and mostly it comes and goes in less than a day but sometimes it takes a few days and sometimes it stays. and it has been more common in larger plants for me so far although i haven't seen it a lot and i don't know which strain(s) does it.
moby (http://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/200303/worms_printable.asp) says this>it's a sign of vitality in a plant. those plants are prone to be dank as well as rank growers. the ability to move like that is related to it's ability to fight off predators in the past and plants that exhibit it have good links to ancient sativa landrace genetics.
it's a little more prone to feeling bad from attack of any type and discolors and readily folds when touched by mold or physical injury it's so strong though that it outgrows it no problem. jungle closeness and humidity can lower it's ability to throw off predatory contact from all things particularly rot
and we didn't understand the question thoroughly maybe? is the scrunching the only type of movement you were talking about?

I have heard from reputable breeders, that the twisted leaf is a common trait in DJ shorts blueberry that everyone loves so much given the're are so many blue crosses available. I have noticed this trait in blueberry plants of my own and others as well. Interesting how "mutant" genes turn out so popular.

I've seen it a time or 2, but I think in my instance it was the inner skin of the shell stickin to the leaf and forcing it to grow weird. Sometimes it passed, and sometimes it didnt. dunno.
only thing left to do is grow it out and let us know what you think, lol
