Hello, This is my first grow so looking for any advise and also wondering if these look like they are on schedule.. I am at week five of flowering. Growing Northern Lights, Afgani and two other strains, not sure what they are. The one from seed seems to be behind compaired to the rest.. Posting photos for your inspection.. Also wondering about pruneing.. I cut most of the sun leaves and leaves that were keeping the light from the buds off. Hope that was the right thing to do..

Ok, so here we are at week 5... Using Pure Blend organic's with Kool Blume and of course, Superthrive.. pH adjusted to 6.5.

All looks fine to me. Hope you enjoy a great harvest. I grew NL twice, and i found that it harvested best (for me) when, under a microscope, the trichomes seemed to be jumping out at you, packed tightly together, and totally clear. When I let another plant go longer, with more amber trichs, I didn't enjoy the high as much.

What causes that crazy leaf curl at the top in picture one?

Not sure why the ends of the leaves at the top are doing that.. Nutes maybe??? I think my next watering I will flush with no nutes... Is that the right thing to do?? I also thought about the heat so I moved it away from the light but it didn't seem to help.. I did notice the tips of the leaves lower are burnt looking. Im thinking nutes.. The others plants don't show any signs of having the same problems...

Any ideas?????

Looks fine. ;) Those 'claws' usually tell me too much N but you should be done giving them that at 5 weeks...at any rate, I don't see many...not still giving veg ferts are you?

No veg nutes.. Just bloom nutes.. Using Pure blume (org.) and Kool Blume with a shot of Superthrive... Should I stop feeding now? I am guessing but it looks to be like Northern Lights should finish at about 8-9 weeks... Is 5 weeks a good time to go with water only???

EM, Im using the watering schedule from your journal.. Seems to be working pretty darn good..

Most just finish with water at last week or 2, I would just start gradually decreasing ferts for next 2 weeks...from what I read, that will cause less stress. I hear alot of peeps saying to only use superthrive in veg, although I can't say why...perhaps someone will chime in?

Right on bro, thanks for the info... I will start backing of the nutes.... That would be great if someone can post about Superthrive during flowering, to use or not to use... That shit gets expensive after a while.. Gallon for $120 here in AK...

Thx ston, I really lucked out on this... Made so many mistakes but they just keep growing... I really have to give the credit to the folks on this site.. I pretty much did what they told me and anytime I had questions everyone jumped in to give their advise... This is my first grow so I really didn't know what the hell was going on most of the time.. I have to say that I have learned a great deal; not that I am an expert now by any means but, I feel like I can go into my next mini grow with a little more confidance. I have my clones in veg right now so I hope that they will be ready to flower in three weeks when these are done...

Thanks and grow on.... :watch:
