Every time I drive back from this one particular customer I always choose the long way so that I can drive past a small castle and then down through the mountain range that runs across the centre of the country. I always wish that i'd had a camera to capture those images.
Just before xmas I lost my mp3 player and so i replaced it with an all singing, all dancing mp4,mp3 camera & videocamera thing from ebay for less than 100euro. So i thought i'd give the camera a test drive, it's crap but you get an idea of what the place is like.
Unfortunately the weather was a bit pants for landscape stuff and they don't seem to put rest stops on the motorway in the most photogenic places.

Castilnovo, I'm pretty sure means new castle so..... the castle is named after the town that was named after the castle. It was built by the moors in the 12th century and is now owned by a spanish/mexican friendship group! They can be seen at the yearly fiesta
