Can anyone tell me how to bypass the MS logo testing?? I can't download any product that doesn't pass this test, and I need to.

Thanks, sometimes I get frustrated enough I don't think of the simplest route to the end of my problem.

I am searching goggle right now. That search was not the right one.
I have a lexmark program that windows will not install, because it will not pass the logo testing ms windows compatability bulshit. I want to bypass that so I can load the program and use the printer.

have you tried the settings in the security centre? if you open that then choose internet options- advanced, you can disable some certificate checking.
you may have a custom security level , check there too.
good luck

You could also go to Lexmark support and download new drivers for any new OS

You could always do what I did with a Lexmark and throw it out of an upstairs window. Oh, and I did it with an Epsom too.
Canon is where its at. From the cheapest to the most commercial they're A1 machines.
You all know that these un-refillable cartridges can be done at home right? Even those with 'one use' chips built in? Its easy. You have to set your service rate on your calender and set the printer to 'replace cartridge' so the tanks come into view. Don't take the tank out but instead use a 1.5mm drill bit and drill two holes in the top at opposite ends. Fill one hole with new ink letting air escape from the second hole and when done glue the holes up. Don't forget to glue the holes up or it becomes a nightmare!
Click to cancel the tank change and you're done.
I'm not sure about every printer, but Canon MP800+ have ink tanks with sensors starting at quarter tank level. As long as you re-fill before this the tank will never count down the ink level.
