Okay, so here's whats going on..

ive got mostly all of my nutes in the pots with the roots, mixed into the soil as ammendments, layers, spikes, etc.

my shiskaberries are nearing finish, and they are not yellowing yet..

Im using all organics, and have given a few teas and some molasses along the way..

Ive got 1-2 weeks left, anything I should do to ensure they have the highest flavor quality possible?

id say just carry on useing the mollases as thats all i use at the end of flowering.i use top max which is an organic flowering booster.i use that right up to the end as its got mollases in and sweetens up the bud a treat;)

just myt thoughts like

My own opinion is starve it the last week no matter what medium. The plant will draw the shit that's been siting in them leaves brewing and not from a bottle.

Nature knows best..... (says hydro guy!)

MHO.

I must have written enough for 10 posts by now, but I keep backspacing and changing my ideas. Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for you. But I have a few questions of my own. After I learn some more, i'll let you know. :p

What causes cannabis to yellow, or use up the nutrients in it's leaves, nearing the end of flowering? Would a plant recieving 12 hours of light a day, full nutrients, and a regular feeding schedule, yellow reaching the end of it's 8-10 intended weeks prior to a harvest designed for optimal potency? If not, how would one go about forcing this change?

From what I've gotten from some of the masters here is that the yellowing occurs from a lack of Nitrogen in the plants system.
My girls that are finishing up right now are VERY yellowed and one of them has yellow sugarleaves now too. So I can attest to the fact that not giving the girls any N for just about the last half of flowering causes them to suck out all the N in their system. I hope this process doesn't negatively effect yield... I'm trusting the pros around here. :trust: :dunce:

Exactly what I have read to do, but creates a problem for Spangly and I when we are putting all our nutes in the pot and feeding them very little after. Guess we are supposed to keep trying till we get the right ratios for them to run out. Or...perhaps since microbes handle intake...perhaps they will handle the flavor? I mean, the whole idea is for the beasties to not allow the plants to 'gorge' themselves...I guess:watch:

edit: Nevermind, just found this posted by REV:

I think you will be fine bro unless you fugged off your beasties somehow, or you really JACKED UP SOME SERIOUS N beyond what I did with the bloodmeal, they don't gotta fade to yellow using living organics to come out fully sweet.

Sounds good to me:)

I think the idea is to add your amendments so they run out when you need em to.
Watering with molasses every other time in the last two - three weeks helps maximize beastie populations and is supposed to aid in the break down of the last of the organic nutes in the soil.

There is no real 'salt build up' in the plant as there can be with synthetic nutes, so I think you'll be ok Spang.
