Here's some amazing plans for REv's killer stealth cab. I'm working on one like this as we speak. Thanks REv. Hope you don't mind me posting this before you but I love the plans and wanted to share. :notworth: The link is not to any seed or growing site so I think it ok. If not I will work on moving the info.

Thaks for the link...not sure if it is legal or not, but I believe the best thing to do would be to build it and post detailed pics/instructions here:D . We need more DIY IMO.;)

Yeah that is actually New Ganja Boy's cab, but I built several of them starting with that basic design.

I can tell ya a couple of coolio modifications I ended up doing...

I made it larger and wider and used it as an aquarium stand so all the fish tank stuff made the exhaust fan sounds no prollem.
Carbon filters and even just a cool little airfreshener set up on the exhaust will work primo for odor stuff.

If ya aren't gonna use it as an aquarium stand and noise is a factor, here's a killer modification tested true...

Make the walls of the "engine room" of the CAB double walled, with that spray in expando-foam stuff between the layers; fuggin' silence is golden, and just back the actual fan away from the outer wall a bit and in that tube carpet the inside. This operates almost silently this way, and as long as everything else isn't dead silent around it no worries at all.

That link will only handle so many visits per day so if you get a message to that effect just try again after midnight or so.

I think that kindof a link is OK bro, mainly so that you are not "marketing" with a link or that link is not to another site dealing with cannabis growing stuff. As per my understanding, please a mod to clear me up here if I am wrong.

Yep I will do a build thread. Mine will be taller so I can use a 400 hps. I love this setup:D  . Sorry thought it was your plan REv. Thanks for the tips on updating. Got any pics of any you built. Any peep running something like this. Feedback or tips are always welcome.

Thanks broski :D

Hey one of my friends, a wicked good construction/carpenter dude, built a whole entertainment center and the whole bottom half was a CAB with false doors on the bottom front part. One side of the half was taller than the other, also to use a 400w lamp in SoCali heat yikes. Worked excellent bro, he even had a custom little space for a small aquarium built in it too.

Some doors/drawers were real some were not, there were locks on all of them, but the ones that actually worked were left unlocked always. Really stealthy man, and a main piece of livingroom furnature hahahaha. Miss that guy man, I could ask him to build anything, he told me how much and I payed him or traded him; he preferred the trade ;)

Also seen a few "Wardrobes" turned into killer CABs; lots of room to get creative and I just loved that part of it too heh heh.

ps: actually I do have pics of mine lots of them but they are all on an older Dell laptop that fried on me, I still have to take that to the computer place one of these days to see if that harddrive is recoverable at all.

Yep I'm digging puting it together. Getting all the parts rounded up. All on paper right now. I'll start working on it after Christmas (family together and all). Looking to have room for 3 moms w/clones and 4 good sized girls. Should take care of my med. needs:D

The big thing with the links is we dont want HGB grouped with certain things threw the search engines like google.Google caches just about everything it comes in contact with expecially links,so with certain keywords the search engine brings them here and we end up with a bunch of kids trolls and fucken cops.So really its for your own protection as much so as for the site.Atleast thats the way i understand the law,CB will have all the tech talk for it but thats what i got out of the conversation.

That is where I got stuck too...seems like 'search engine bait'.

Cool CB :) I *think* I get what you mean midwestbluntman about the search engines grabbing up stuff. I'll double check before I post up any links that I am not sure are cool. I think that's an awesome safety measure by the way 2thumbs

CAB SHot

http://www.geocities.com/rolanterroy/stealth/cabinet07.jpg

Yeah brohammer, I built like 5 or 6 CABs so I can prolly hep ya out at any snags you hit, feel free to rattle my cage amigo.

Also, another memeber here posted up a pic the other day that cracked me up it was a stealth dressor for vegging; this is a very cool little stealth thingee and I had one that looked just like it. Mine the whole front hinged open, but ya gotta do a couple re-enforcement things to it first for that to work well. I used the stealth dressor for mommys/daddys and freshly rooted clones and seedlings/sprouts. Lit with a 4-bank of floros, 20watts each 4-footers cool white; used only a couple vents, 2 high and two low with light baffles on them so that peeps would't think ET was in my dressor at night hahahah. Didn't need any fans, the natural cycle of the upper and lower vents did all the work; if you ever hear me say "Thermal Venting" that's what I mean, the warmer air up high in the cab/dressor escaping from the upper vents pulls in cooler air from the lower vents.

where you on overgrow?I got the complete build tutorial for this cab
http://www.geocities.com/rolanterroy/stealth/cabinet07.jpg
I was going to build one just like it a few years back but decided it was to small for my needs, sweet ass design tho.I will dig threw my archives and see if i can pull that tutorial up and post it here just in case someone might want a break down on it.

that's exactly where I got it if I recall bro, OG, and it was posted by New Ganja Boy; I used it as a base design for my first CAB, I also found it too small for my purposes and expanded on this basic design. The whole tutorial is linked at the first post in this thread bro :D

That where I'm at with size. Mine will be taller so I can put a 400 hps in it. Plan on the sliding shelfs, and over all the same setup just more room. I'll also be using REv live organic mix and not hydro. This will take some time but when done I should be able to run 3 mom w/clones and 4 good size girls. :grow:

Excellent bro, and the living organics should work out as least as good as hydro for feeding the plants, cuz when ya gots your mix and your dynamic dialed... man lemme tell ya, you can fuel up some BIG FAT Plants/Buds in really small container sizes!

Just take note on the ScrOG set up in particular, all the details about how it is self supporting and detaches and the like, these are all very very important points and absolutely try and do ScrOG bro it will at least double your yields under a CAB dynamic! :D

Boy that brings back the memories,I never got to talk with new ganja boy I guess he was not there any longer when i got interduced to overgrow.I pm him a few times and he never replied so i guess he was gone.Sun is shining was another that i missed,I built his version of a carbon scrubber and tried to get some info from him and again no reply.I got a few setup tutorials on disk and that cabby is one.I might see about putting up a DIY tutorial forum and post them all for future growers to enjoy.Up until this influx of UTG members there hasnt been much DIY peeps here,Im hope'n to see a bunch in the future.

I am full on DIY-Guy and I have many multiple DIY stuff I will share down the road here, one of which is a KILLER hydro setup using 4" ABS it's an Ebb-n-flow x SWC hybrid system that not only kicks major ass, but is inexpensive to build too. I also have a design that is all my own I call Vortex-Hydro and that is some state of the art shit amigo heh heh really incredible yields WoW, and simple as pie too.

I could build a working hydro system when I was 11 years old (father taught me), and I'm an old guy now, so as you can prolly guess I gots my hydro logistics down solid ;)
