Hey folks! I'm new here but not new on the net.
I grow organically and these shots are from my current (3rd) grow.
Much improvements in my skills this time around.. Here's a few of my more recent shots. The one in the pink pot is a c99xEuc F2 just started flowering. The 4 small ones are shiskaberry (2 phenos), and the rest are of the BR1947.
All under 430W HPS enhanced spectrum bulb in coir/organics

Well I took a shot of the SourSpanglys for ya RockDog.
Here's the harvest shots from this afternoon!
I had to chop one of my shiskaberries, the morphed and weird one that was growing one leaf only and very odd and slow growth.. i found a couple bananas forming on it so down she goes. No other plants show bananas so im pretty sure it's a bad genes or something.. the shiskaberry I used to make seeds with is NOT the same phenotype though.

check it out!!
Here's an update on the rest of me garden
The picture of the 3 blue rhinos are my ongoing experiment. This is what each of them has:
bottom half of container:
**Base+
1 cup worm castings
1tsp dolomite lime
1 small tsp green sand
1 tsp POM 555
1 tsp high P guano
Here's whats different about each:
Plant 1: Add to that mix, 1 cup sheep manure and 1tsp Marine Cuisine
Plant 2: Add to that mix 1 tsp marine cuisine
Plant 3: Add to that mix 1 cup sheep manure
**Base contains:
15 litres of coco coir puffed with seaweed water
2 cups sheep manure
2 cups worm castings
1 tsp marine cuisine
6L cactus potting mix (sandy)
3L bark chips
8L perlite
The picture of the shiskaberry plant is the one that has its three lower branches pollinated with my SourBubble male  That shiskaberry is looking to be my favorite of all the shiskas I have. It's definitely going to be the biggest producer, even with though its been seeded.
Then theres a couple pics of the C99 x Eucalyptus F2 that I have going, she looks just fantastic and smells very.. weed-like... haha, she's looking like she should be a decent yeild too, and very healthy, she's my favorite plant so far for taking pictures of because she looks so gorgeous!
The last picture is of my batwing passionflower vine. It's a really cool and fast growing plant.. :D I just transplanted it from a clone (that took forever to root!) into the pot and gave it some organics treatment and some superthrive, man does it love that! BOOM It shot the top three leaves out in the last week! :o

well, they were small plants to start with.. when they started flowering they were 3 inch tall clones. I'd say about 10-14 grams each on the BR1947 and about 8-10 on the shiskaberry.
Not bad considering how small they were to start flowering and at 55 days harvest time. The shiskaberry should go about another week but I don't want to risk its herming in the room with some younger plants. Plus I really cant wait to smoke some of the shiskaberry because I've never tried it before. hahah

I don't know yet dude! I've never tried Shiskaberry yet! It smells absolutely delicious though! Deep musty berry smell.. Thick smelling. :smoke1:
Momma Jo's Shiska x Nevilles Haze that won the Gold Leaf knocked me on my ass with one hit the other night. I am a lightweight, but this stuff floored me with a single toke. :D
Me thinks you're gonna like the Shisk just fine, Spang.

Momma Jo won with Shiska x Nevelles Haze?! YUM! that would kick ass! No wonder it won! :D
I puffed a really early doobie today of the shiskaberry. What a treat it was! I can't wait till it's cured completely! :D

thanks duder!
the shiskaberry is impressing the shit out of me by how it looks and smells, and the test doobies seem to point in a great trippy indica high :D
The plant I seeded with sourbubble pollen is really starting to shine now too, and Im almost positive that I made the correct choice of the two phenos for parenthood. :p
I'm really really looking forward to seeing the results of my trained shiskaberry pictured above. 1 week into flowering and there's no sign of buds yet though. but that's okay. She can take all the time she needs to lay down those roots in that huge new pot of hers and find all the goodies I left her in there. :D If things go according to plan, she will be a very nice bushy plant indeed. By the way, while talking about training shiskaberries, I have a clone with two tops in veg that I started training early. By the time it goes into flower it should be ready to BOOM like a monster bush from hell !!

Looking real good there Spang.... quick question .. do you always train your plants ?

Looking real good there Spang.... quick question .. do you always train your plants ?
No sir. the last few crops were grown out naturally.
A while back when I grew some CHerry Hemmingway and a LemonSkunk, I trained the lemonskunk and experimented with topping/fimming/cutback on the cherry hemmingways.
I decided that overall, training was the most efficient way to grow. Now since my flowering room is emptying and i will only have a few plants in there while the rest of my seedlings/clones veg to a decent size, I am going to train the ones I will have flowering because I've got the space and light to do so.. hopefully that shiskaberry will turn out to yeild awesome!

The c99 x Eucalyptus F2 is looking very killer. Im a little upset I didn't take any clones  that's okay though Ive got several more of them that I can pop if it turns out to be a favorite. ;) hahah! Very neat smell on that one... mysterious and sweet. VERY photogenic plant too. :D

heheheh.
pic 1 & 2
Shiskaberry plant that has been trained and topped. The main event for now.. she gets prime lighting position for her whole life. she shares the room with two other clones the same age as her (off to the sides) and the c99 x Euc F2.
pic 3
BR1947 - 60 days. Was cut at 62 days. This is a test to see the differences between when i was harvesting (55 days) and a week longer.. results to come after dry and cured. it was DEFINITELY done though.. it was just ready to herm on me, I could tell.. it was screaming at me to cut it down by day 62.
Pic 4, 5 & 6
C99 x Eucalyptus F2. This plant is awesome. I cant say enough good things, it's getting incredibly fat now, these pics were taken at day 48 which was on the 29th of december. Today they are HUGE.. The buds have doubled in size and density, these are fat, trichome covered buds that smell awesome. I'm really impressed with these genes they look nice and grow nice and are a big yeilder by the looks of things... theyve got at least a week and a half left maybe more so by the time its done i think my yeilds are going to be great!!
Pic 7
One of the bondage shiskaberry's sisters who shares the light off to the side of the "main event"
Pic 8 & 9
The only "hermy pheno" shiskaberry that made it the full 63 days without herming too bad. It did produce a couple bananas but it held off till around day 60 to start so I let it finish.
I also chopped down the mother shiska (non hermy pheno) that I used to cross with my sourbubble male to make some "Sour Berry" seeds. I didnt take any pics of her though (d'oh). There will be bud pics of her soon though!

Pic 1
Shiskaberry at 63 days. Same plant as pictured above and in picture 3 of this post.
Pic 2
Shiskaberry at 63 days, this is the picture of my mom that i used to make seed as mentioned above! I DID take a picture! shes lovely and smells better than the hermy pheno, i like the way she grows more too. Should be fun to see her babies.
Pic 3
Same plant as in pic 1 and in the post above... enough said.
Pic 4
A bottle of maxicrop for comparison. That is the same plant as pictured in pic 1 and 3 and in the post above. Behind it you can see the BR1947 from the above post, its hanging for a day longer than the shiska in the pic.

Hey thoth, I've been through a few crops of BR1947 now, I've got a few jars that are into curing so I can take some shots basically any time. ;)

01-07-2007, 10:05 PM
Well i had better take some pics of the buds before they are all gone.. They're goin quick! heheeh
heres some grow shots.. ive run into a bit of a problem this time around.. starting with the c99 x Euc F2 which began burning, I have gone wrong somewhere since and am having the same problem on some newer plants (shiskaberries) as you can see in some of the pics.. they are still BOOMING the buds out and trichs, but they don't look as nice as I'd like them to look. :( Ah well, we live and we learn, these plants are promising to be my biggest yeilds per plant yet. :D
SpanglyBoovus
01-07-2007, 10:48 PM
heheh here's those harvested shots.. good thing I took them, there's not much left of any of them is there!! hahaha Very good stuff though, i love smoking it. the pictures are all labelled. the fluffy shiska (pic 1) with low yeild had seeds on its lower branches thats why it was not very big, but i just finished smoking the first tester of her and she is killer potent and tasty. Crossed with my sour bubble I think will make a really nice cross. The hermy free pheno is DEFINITELY better than the herm pheno shiskaberry that I had. Mmmm they are all good though. BR1947 is still preferred over either shiskaberry pheno for me though. :D

moho the shiska looks really really pleasing to the eye.. it smells not bad, the taste is pleasing and ultrasmooth, but the high is just not my favorite on her. I'll see how this run goes with them, but chances are that after they come off the shiska will be removed from my veg chamber and no more shiskas will be flowered, although I am interested in what the Shiskaberry x Sourbubble turns out like.
