what if i made sum cannabutter let it cool down then spread it on some toast for a breakfest this is probably a stupid question but ive never herd any body talk about bread and butter

hey there budz...as I am typing this I have my cannabutter on to simmer. The blocks of butter are almost melted and I am waiting to adjust it to a slow 5 hour simmer before going back out to the shed for more harvesting. On toast? Never having tasted cannabutter before I can only guess that if you could stomach the taste on toast it would be one hell of a way to start off the day :D Just remember to try it out before you do any driving, from some of the things I have read the strength can be quite surprising. Myself, I am going to make some Fantasy Fudge (from the recipe thread) to send out with some Christmas presents to some special people on my list :D I have used a little over 7 ounces of popcorn buds only (no clippings or scraps) and 6 cups of butter. I am hoping to get a finished yield of 4 cups of ass kicking butter. Let us know if you ever try it on toast...you could start a new trend!

You´re going to use 7oz of popcorn to make 4 cups of butter?? If one cookie made with that butter doesn´t knock your arse to the floor I´ll eat my sombrero!

I´m going to try and get some going this weekend, I´ve about 3-4oz of popcorn and was going to try to get 2 pounds of butter from it. You´re making me feel like a wuss!

:D :D :D Hey Sombro...these are very very special people. One is my friend who was over this summer and helped me tend the ladies. She had to go home without so much as a bong full because you guessed it...she lives in the States. I would love to have sent her over a few ounces but the fudge is the best thing I can come up with. I want the fudge to be so strong so it will last longer. Poor thing is even going through a drought right now and here I set with more bud than I could ever have imagined! The next person is my brother who stoned me out so many many times during my poor single mother student days and has not smoked for nearly 20 years because of drug testing in his work place. You must have guessed it again...he too lives in the States. They have stopped drug testing now but he is still too paranoid to grow or buy...but he would love to smoke once again. So...it makes me really happy to have a couple people say its going to be some strong butter. I really want them to enjoy the fudge and have it become a legend :D The butter is now strained and is sitting in the shed for the night. It's far to hot to put in the fridge or freezer and there is no way this tired old body of mine is going to be awake for a few hours waiting for it to cool. We have been having really cold weather here for the past week, heavy ground frost...but wouldn't you know it tonight it feels like a Spring evening. I've taken a lot of pictures of the butter making for my brother, I might do a thread in a few days. When are you making yours budz?

I don't have a cheesecloth at the moment so a trip out for supplies is likely. Or butter for that matter, if only life wasn't so hard eh?

So how did it all go? was there loads of smell/mess? How much butter did you use to get your 4 cups of psychospread? To see some photos would be great.

Your guests are going to be slain by fudge ! I suggest that an hour after ingestion you get a bottle of JD out just to see how messy it is possible to get.

Dunno if this same amount converts to butter from oil but it's all I could find off hand. Seems like it might be a little weak for butter. I'd double the ratio to make up for butter...

* 2 ounces of leaf cuttings (stems removed) or
1/4 ounce of good pot
* a half cup of vegtable oil (olive or canola)
