here's a couple coolio shots of this baybee; she's about 3 days from finishing which will be at 55 days.

Grown under an old (16 months old) 430watt HPS Agro bulb 100% living organics, just add water heh heh...

OK, three quickies...

This is off my biggest BR1947 (index AA pheno A) and she finished almost 2.5' tall, I'm guessing that's just about 2.5oz in the jar; she was grown under a 16 month old 430watt HPS agro in living organics, flowered for 55 days. Enjoy..

Yeah Mon :p she definitely has that cool happy side to her, where ya can't help but feel all is gonna be alright, and the world is beautiful etc... Plus she's AWESOME meds to for my spazm-leg stuff yikes! Only like 3 or 4 weeds I have ever smoked that will mellow out those spazms, Real Deal NL#5 & Blue Rhino 1947 are two of them that work ace! :)

For some unexplained reason I am not building a tolerence to her hardly at all, and normally I used to build a tolerence to her very quickly! Dunno ....But I like it!

Kick ass spang! Hello by the way you guys :hello:

I found out what it means when the BR1947 gets those yellowish leaf zones BTW, it's cuz she preferrs her pH range to run a tad lower and is only a tad sensitive to it running a tad high which for most strains would be "normal" ;) no worries at all though. I recently hit two plants with pH 9.5 water so I could see how they responded and the Cherry Thunderfuck didn't care one bit heh heh, but the BR1947 responded immediately with a few yellow zones on her leaves (mid to lower) and a visible trace lockout (prolly Iron I would assume) in the upper newer leaves.

Next day I hit her with "normal" water, mine runs about 6.5 - 7.0 and she came right back to normal up top except kept the yellowish/albinoish stripes and spots on her bigger leaves, no damamge just cosmetic. :gthumb:

I worked lastnight in the grow recycling soil and it was 3am before I knew it  ...I meant to PoP back on here and get with a bunch of you guys but passed the hell out instead. Woke up at 6am with this nagging feeling I had forgotten something, and it was YIKES! All of a sudden (at 7am) I realize my baybee has a court appearence at 8:30am 30 miles away AHHHHHHHHH! Pulled some fast strings and used some buds to get there on time, just got back yikes! :)

I agree with this completely. I've had a few puffs on a drying bud today and it's great happy weed indeed. It does have great med quality too, my back feels great, even when smoking in the cold!

The high hits fast and after the first toke. It sends you soaring high and happy immediately and the second and third are pretty good rushes as well. First 20 minutes after the last toke is very hard hitting. I wouldn't want to smoke this while driving, but after 20 minutes would be fine.

My mouth is dry.. its past the 20 minute point now and it's still happy and fun, still no pain but I could go shovel snow or something right now after smokin' a little doobie with 2 pals of mine.

Flavors are just what rev describes, although its fresh I can still get that flavor, which is not bad at all, its pretty tasty but it's not really strong flavored either, it smells incredible though.

Rev I'm gonna have to give you a big thanks on this one dude! You gave me a lot of advice especially last grow and you suggested I try the BR1947 because those Cherry Hemmies weren't really my type of smoke. Ya told me I'd love them and I do man!

Heh heh yeah, what I actually should have said, is that when you smell the buds (very killer smells yikes) you think the weed is gonna have really powerful flavors, and the smells are way stronger and more pronounced than the flavors. Now lemme say this, *personally* I LOVE the flavors of the Blue Rhino 1947 bigtime and I think they are elegant totally. But if I were to f2 these (and I prolly will up the road a ways) I would select for stronger flavors is all. The flavors rock, berry blonde hashy elegance I think. But I would like to draw out the berry some more in the flavors.

What spangler is mentioning above about the 20-30 minute change in the stone, heh heh, that is one of my very favorite parts about this smoke. Cuz she SLAMMS ya outta the gate, fast and hard, but about 30 min into it you can totally feel the hightype change anfd become more up and motivational.

I think she's about 4 weeks along in that pic above, no longer 4sure, and she's just so rudely covered in resin she just reminded me of a piney-tree with snow all over her :D

I'll be harvesting her right around Christmas so she IS Christmas bud! :)

Really glad to hear that bro :D ...I really like this one myself; I blazed one with these two hydrostore peeps yesterday heh heh, they are card holders, and were QUITE baked when I left, I was crackin' up. I traded them a nug for a bottle of Down to Earth Root Growth Enhancer. (soluable)

I remember building tolerance to this one pretty fast in the past, but not so much now. Makes me wonder about many differences between synthetic and organics and the subtle changes in the final product. Not to mention a couple bigger ones I think heh heh.

Right arm! :D I gotta run around here for a few but I'll Be Bock in a few hours and we'll babble my friend.

Got a couple REALLY cool pics of the dried and cured up Blue Rhino 1947 too when I get back! The strain is a big med hit around my neck of the woods and I have yet to run across any person with nerve/bone type pain that hasn't told me it has some voodoo that relieves those things. Not to mention, she is an ass kicker yikes! Hahahaha, my tolerence is back up again so I can judge her potency more accurately now, oh yeah, she's potent alright hahaha!

Her resin makeup is unique as well to many cannabis genotypes, and even peeps who have a high tolerence and are under the influence already of other cannabis types always tell me this weed would cut right through their stone and bake them all new again heh heh. Normally that's a high power sativa trait, but I guess the BR1947 just recombo'd with some really coolio resin voodo! Cheers everyone and I hope you are havin' a smokin' good day. Be back later with some wicked pics to post!

I am saving her (02) for a breeder female and I may also save an A phenotype female, undecided yet heh heh. :)

smells are almost a sour berry smell to them, very lovely smell to the buds indeed.

Tonight I went out with some buds in a baggie in my pocket. Everywhere I went people told me I smell like weed ;):p the people I was smoking with today were passing the stuff around taking turns smelling it saying they hadn't smelled pot that smelled that good, ever.. Really nice smell to her I wish she tasted just like she smells because damn would that be one of my favorite weeds right then and there! She's really potent happy good high.. I love smokin this stuff except its a little harsh while smoking, it makes me cough, but not congestive afterwards.. Mine burns with a nice white ash and very evenly, although it burns a little faster than I would like.. I like to enjoy my doobies. :p

Im going to go puff a doobie and when I return I will put up some dried/curing shots in my thread.. mmm. I am eagerly awaiting this doobie.. The buds are nearly rock hard too, which is really good because my last grow everything was really fluffy, this time they are really dense buds on the inside.. they look kind of fluffy but when you give it a squeeze it's solid for sure..

rolanterroy
12-06-2006, 09:56 AM
Spangler my good man, now is the time to dial in some of that stuff you have learned heh heh...

First of all, make sure you jar up the buds after they are basically dry for atleast 7 days or so, opening the jar every 4 or 5 hours for the first couple days to make sure they aren't too wet; if they feel wet when you open it, just leave the top off for about 12 hrs and then feel them again, if dry again seal it back up and continue until you can leave them in there for 7 days (at least) ..The reason I say this is because you use a lot of Molasses, and I have found that when doing that you NEED to jar up the weeds cuz I think some of the molasses sugars are still raw or something, and as the buds ripen they also get processed. But when they come outts the jar HOLY HELL, very very expando, I can't take a big hit off a dobie myself, but not one tad harsh, like I said elegant if anything.

Second, research all your N sources, it is important to have the plants only using the slow release long term N sources by harvest; now this is no prollem if mega micro-beasties have been used to their strengths. But stuff like your Sheep Shit, that's med. Strong/Strong release and fairly long too. Figure Blood Meal doesn't get down to slow release for almost 3 months heh heh, and for about 45 days Blood Meal is Powerful Strong release and especially so if any kelp meal or ferts are in the medium yikes!

Goose all your powerful N sources before the flowering container transplant is what I do. (in the 5") Then for the flowering N source I use bat guano cuz although it is a powerful N source (way) strong release, it's also very short release and tops out at around 45 days, which happens to work out perfectly for an 8 week strain if you spike in some bat guano at the onset of flowering etc.

Also spang, when taking pics of your buds, mess around using sunlight and a fill flash ;) really shows off the trichs in detail bro! :D

Great pics rev, nice and sticky, hows the smell when ya break open a bud???

Heh heh yeah spang's right, she's stinky even in a double seal zip-loc baggie. She's really kinda like assorted berries smelling, with a very distinctive Blonde Hashish overtone. Breaking her up results in SUPER blonde hashy berryness smells and dry hitting the doobie is as like. Flavors are the same, (very hashy mouth coating) just watered down a bit from what you would expect.

- REv :smoke1:

ps: a few more killer dried/cured BR1947 (A pheno) here in a few heh heh.

Rev those Pheno A buds look very very similar to mine! (which are pheno A) . Cool!

I'll experiment with the flash settings for sure dude, just got the new cam trying to figure it out. ;)

Thanks for the tips on the N sources and such. Basically what I was using for N this time around was castings, sheep manure (which I might eliminate ) and Marine Cuisine.

I havent used blood/bonemeal for a while now as Im kind of frightened by the mixture I have (blood & bone).. Having the two mixed is nice but when adding other sources for P and N i just was a little worried i might fry my girls! The Marine Cuisine seems to keep the plants pretty happy with N until about 40-45 days from what I have seen which is pretty good for a strain like the BR1947. This new grow I have going I think I will use some Blood/Bone in their last veg transplant which will probably be 5 inch pots.. That way there's not too much left behind once flowering is nearing the finish, about 3 or 4 weeks before flowering starts is when that transplant should be happening if all goes as planned.

The buds I say are "harsh" well I guess expando is the word you use. :p the smoke itself isnt harsh but it makes me cough when smoking.. The buds have only been in jars for a couple days.. I had best stop smokin her or they'll be gone before they've had a chance to ripen. :D

her flavor is very very hashy with a hint of berry, as we've said a lot of times.. ive had a few other people smoke the br1947 and have told me it tastes like hash  so it's pretty evident to others that the flavors are hash/berryish too. yay.

Thanks rev for the info on N sources, I always like thinkin about stuff like that..

I like both of them really to tell ya the truth, but from what I gather the American Pride is Almost organic dry nute, and the Marine Cuisine is all organic. They both rock but I use Marine Cuisine now cuz I am tryin' to be all organic as much as possible.

Yeah man, I was refillin' some of my jugs the other day with nutes, and as I am pouring High N Bat Guano into it's can I see some weird difference in the consistancies..... Closer examination revealled I had somehow switched out the lids and had been using Blood Meal instead of Bat Guano for the last few months  and these are smaller cans so my spikes and stuff were BLOOD MEAL yikes! That's how powerful the beasties are man, cuz my stuff shoulda been so damn harsh, yikes! But nope, although I have encountered a couple hot spots here and there heh heh where I can tell there be some N in there, but really am astonished that I didn't really fry the smoke. I mean I musta also used it 1/8th teaspoon in teas too during the 1st half of flowering, yikes!

Those two nutes look a lot alike, lesson learned: Always make sure the cans are marked as well as the lids hahahaha.

Marine Cuisine works great! My Wife used it outside on a Tomato plant and it went huge. They tasted great too. I don't use it because of it's long release. I used Open Sesame, Cha Ching, and Beastie Bloomz last grow and the resin production and potency actually increased! Fox Farms for me!

Hahahah, yeah that was prolly part of it LoL! I have like bigger cans filled with dry nutes and stuff, then I have all these smaller cans with smaller amounts of the same nutes so they are mobile for whatever I am doing at the time and I just refill them from the bigger ones. Many of my little cans are the same exact cans with different lables on the lids, and with most nutes even blind old me could tell like Bone Meal from Greensand and stuff, but the catch here is they are both very similar looking the Guano and the Blood Meal.

So now I also lable the cans themselves heh heh; that *should* have been a devastating blow with all that Blood Meal available that late in flowering. I mean the Bat Guano is really powerful, but it burns up really fast with beasties, like 30 days or so from what I have noticed. Where Blood Meal keeps on keepin' on for awhile strong, like 30-45 days then a longtime medium, a few months I would say. then slow for awhile too I have read and assume.
