Well its not as exciting as Amsterdam or Scotland (my 2 places of wishful vacationing ;) )....Not sunny and relaxing like Cancun with sandy beaches ....
As a matter of fact......there was only one lousy day that it didn't rain :( Welcome to Autumn in Ontario ;)
I just got back from a wonderful 2 weeks of chilling with my mom....and too much time in the Bingo Hall :D
It wasn't a holiday to get away to a place of new discovery....it was a nice holiday of family time and lots of shopping
I managed to snap over 300 pics  And i hit every Chicken Shwarma place i could find.....seems food is the only thing i really miss besides the family since i left the smog...humidity and construction riddled streets of Southern Ontario :yack:

I grew up in a small town....the one thing i miss most about where i grew up is the river right out front of my old house...
Its most definitely not even close to the beauty of BC's lakes and rivers...as a matter of fact....you can't even see your hand after you submerge it in the water
Heres a few odd shots of the river...the water seriously isn't as dirty as it looks....it is so murky looking due to a clay bottom...with the constant flow of the river across the clay it keeps the water a lovely  shade of brown
Even the murky waters hold some good catches:eek: ....no way would i eat any fish from this river...i look at the water now and can't beleive i actually used to swim in there....YUCKERS

Even though the river seems dark and forboding to me....there is still wildlife that call this place home....and i am so vey thankful to have managed to catch these pics :)

i was hoping to get into my friends grow room and snap some pics....but luck wasn't on my side...there happened to be other people visiting while i was there....and i am the only one who knows they grow so pics were out of the question :(
so i had to settle with pics of their FAT FAT cat :D
also posted is my aunties new rescue from the SPCA ...a dog so wonderful i wanted to hide her in my suitcase
and the close up of my grandmas demon cat....all i wanted to do was pet this cat just once....but damn she had a hate on for me....i swear she growled when i walked around the house ....she swatted at me with her clawless paws and i was ...for the first time in my life....scared of a cat
and the last sweetie....a stray cat that is now being taken care of by the fellas i used to work with....yes...that is lumber you see in the background....Ldy was a lumber yard worker

Sorry to hear that the weather sucked. You can see the hatred in that cat's eyes. One of my wife's relatives had a dog that used to piss me off. I'm a big dog person but this thing was a little blue poodle that would stand over my shoes in the hallway & growl and snarl at me when I tried to go near it.
So, I'd wait until nobody was around and give it a good belt. I never thought I'd be one to hit an animal but this thing made me want to destroy it.
