hey guys
ive decided to set up again BUT to limit me numbers to 2
yep a petty 2,that way if i do get dropped in on
im able to remain in the personal use categorie..
so anyways ive got a few different options open to me
ive got many lights 400,600,1000 fluoro etc
im thinking of running the 600hps...
i have 3 inline fans 2 x 250mm 1 x 90mm
and a lousy standard bathroom exhaust,im hoping that thes will take care of the heat issues generated with use of 600 watts..
since im only growin 2 i have the option of an extended vege
so i was thinking of a tall cupboard like structure..
i can go 2metres 20 high and as wide as i need but was thinking since me shade is no wider than a metre it would be lose of light intensity if i went wider than about 1metre 20...
i have a 1000w chinaman shade that i can house the 600w in
other than that its the old adjustashade..
so i was wanting a few ideas on this cabinet/box thingy ill knock up
im not used to confined spacesfor growing..
i have the option also of the classic scrogg..i found a set up from og the other day but i cant find wherit was,im spewin it would of been a prime blueprint..
does any1 know it,its in some1s sig,its a rectangular box for 1 x 400 or 2 x 400,it was originally on og as a sog box,i just cant think of the grower..
all help on these things are appreciated
take care guys
peace

It works really well, I've been using that box setup for two years with great luck. A good balance between size and functionality. The key is the footprint - 32 inches deep by 6 feet long. With two 600's it would really rock as I'm using three 400's with great results. with the increase to 1200 watts instead of the 800 he was using I get much more even light distribution and don't even bother running reflectors or mylar. I put mine up in the air two feet as I can't stand laying on my belly to work in it. Gave me lots of storage space underneath. One drawback - it's 32" width won't fit through a lot of door-ways. Next time i build one I'd make it collapsable using nuts & bolts and angle hardware as once it's screwed together you're stuck with it... too big for one guy to move by himself.

That same foot print but with a higher ceiling height would be fantastic for a two (big) plant grow, the key is to get the air moving properly in a big loop from below, across the bulbs up to the top and then falling back down to start over.
