How long can you keep a tea and have it still be healthy for the plants?

About 3 days after I started my tea, I noticed the foam at the top dissapear and it overall became a lighter color; Like it had eaten all of the food I gave it. After I fed it some more fish fert I got the foam back and that darker color.

I'm curious if there is a "shelf life" on microorganisms :p or at any point a tea could become unhealthy for a plant?

If I continue to feed it when the tea has eaten through all of the "food", does the tea increase in strength or is it simply bringing me back to my starting point?

thanks.

as long as you feed it it'll keep on living
I give mine something to hold'm over a long time but at a slow rate ...WEEKS... like worm castings, bannana peal, apple core, kelp, trim/stems, manure (fresh or composted manure: chicken, cow, horse ....)

size it to your needs .... it lasts a long time so not much is needed

Thanks for the tip, Fing.

Say I were to add some Earthworm castings to my tea as a long term food, Fing... Would you venture to guess an amount per gallon?
