Have a gander at these leaves. I remember reading something about this but for the life of me can't remember where and nor why it happens.

I think Fillabong once explained it as plant stroke.

I've seen it on mine before, it didnt progress so I didnt stress about it. Have no clue what brought it on, or cure'd it.

Maybe it was chalestorol? Maybe it's a sensitive plant and knows it only has 5 weeks to live?

Thanks for the info Aggi, Cranks, Filla and Shadows. Nothing to worry about then.... 2thumbs

is there a chance that it is a sulfur deficiency?..it looks like a classic S def to me..or could it be too much light?..but too much light usually appears as white leaves..???

It only appeared on those two leaves Zoom. No other plany or leaf is showing it so it must be isolated. If it were the lights or mg, I'd expect others to get it too.

No probs.

The yellowing has stayed with the leaf and some yellowing very similar to nute burn apppeared but no browning off. Strange as the colas are less than 12 inches from the 600s.

Which leads me to another question. The ideal distance is 18 inches right? But what if you can get them nearer without burning?

i dont think there is an ideal amount to have ya plants away from bulb.its down to the strain and how much light they can handle.take my hood,i can have my plants 2-3 inch from the glass so about 5 inch from bulb without heat issues but i find some strains will get light burn so i have to back off.

just my 2 bobs worth:peace:

So as near as you can get without burning is fine then. I have a fan blowing gently across the canopy 24/7 which allows me to have the 600s about 9 inches away.
Seems fine me old china.

yeah and I've seen growers with plants touching the cool tube with 1000w in it. The damage is not like what you have. For me, being 2" from a 250 bulb means bleaching, and frazzled buds. 3" away means happiness.
