Lunatics Camping and Family Fun

Its been pretty busy the last few weeks in the Lunatic house....first was a last minute camping trip....then Zen's family came to visit.

Lets start with the camping ...first night camping was not too pleasant for myself...i was deathly sick...i think the people camping around the other side of the bay heard me dry heaving....Zen said i was pretty loud :(

Not only did i have the sickness to deal with....but that first morning we were awoken by Army Helicopters (dual propellor) seeking outdoor grows :eek: damn those things were flying low....scared the crap outta sleeping me and Zen....

My son was already awake....he said the fellas waved at him from the choppers ...he said he thought they were coming there....they were so low :eek:



The sons and a couple pals we brought with us enjoyed our new canoe....first time she hit water :)

And much fishing was done....but alas...no catches worth keeping :(

we are on the Island in BC....it was north Island...one of the many lakes we have here

such a beautiful piece of the world....lucky to live here :)

when the family came to visit we did a bit of sight seeing...and Zen and i actually made it parts of the Island that we haden't seen yet....

it was quite wonderful to see the new parts of the island and share it with his Mom and Sisters also :)

sad to say that the family left this morning....and thank goodness i didn't go to the airport...

from what Zen says it was a teary mess....and if i had been there i would have just been a blubbering baby...i hate good-byes...they make me so sad ...and time with family when they are so far away always goes by too quickly

i hope you all enjoy the pics....and wouldn't you all like a holiday??

Hell yea the scenary is fantastic... I could Holiday there fer a FEW days anyway! :D
Am wanting to make it out that way in the near future, but prolly not until next Fall.
Mrs. Fred and I are planning to Holiday in Europe the first part of March '07... Amsterdam, Paris, Marseilles, Geneve and Interlaken.
We're also planning on attending the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver..... would like to make it out to see the area before the Olympics... so prolly next Fall after the work season is over.... Oct/ Nov.

Hell who knows... we may bag the Euro trip and come out West this Winter.... highly doubtful, but always nice to have a sumwhatofa back-up plan. :p

cracking pics LL;) looks like yas all had a great time indeedy.another 8 weeks or so for my 1 week away....wont be with the family....i figured i deserve a break away on me jacksy.going away with the kids at their age makes me want to have another break away just to get over that one if ya know what i mean.

next trip just got planned Cranky...and i am going solo this time...;) heading back to see my mom and the rest of the extended family in Ontario

haven't been off the Island since i got here ....but with beauty like this surrounding me....who needs to leave? ;)

DAMN!!!! i'm gonna hold you to that....i am pure bred Scottish here....and so if my hubby Zen....i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see any pics you have to offer :)
